BART TOWNSHIP, Pa., Oct. 3 -- Five young Amish girls are dead, and five more are seriously injured, after being lined up in their one-room school Monday and shot "execution style" by a heavily armed milk truck driver who then took his own life, police said.

Charles Carl Roberts IV, 32, was armed with three guns, two knives and 600 rounds of ammunition when he burst into the schoolhouse, forced the girls to line up against a blackboard and shot them at close range in the back of the head, police said.

What is it with nobody coming out and flat out condemning these homocidal maniacs that just up and kill anybody, much less children? It seems that the Liberal multi-culturalism is trying to find out why a man would do such a thing and victomize the killer. Is any sane person really offended when correct labeling is used? Why are people confused when they attempt to understand something that is as simpls, that guy is a psychotic murderer. Is insanity really to be debated after a person pre-meditates a murder? It is simply understood, that guy is insane.

Some good must always come from a bad occurance..I think this SOB was a "controlled nut case", that is to say, he was able to live a normal life, marriage, children, a decent job with responsibility....

Why ?

The human mind is extremely complex, at this point in time we probably understand about 0.0....% .....and now the murderer is dead, so we may learn nothing.......

Multi-culturalism and Liberalism have little or nothing to do with this..
One thing that is seriously wrong is the far too easy to buy weapons and ammo, particularly in Pennsylvania. This animal had 600 rounds !!!!
Damn the gun-lobby ! And their supporting weak kneed legislaturers..

Do you know how many laws were broken here?

How can you possibly argue that one or two more would have prevented this?

Re: Children Slayed

Yeah, the other thread was first. My bad.

what hysterical nonsense. You have been asked several times to tell us what laws would have prevented this and you keep squirming done your hole rather than stepping up to the plate and telling us.

You lefties love to blame the NRA everytime some whacko goes postal yet its the NRA who wants to harshly deal with nutcases who misuse weapons and its the NRA that tires of people being disarmed victims. The Amish choose to be pacifists and that is their right-no one says they should be forced to bear arms. However to blame the NRA and the politicians who actually support the constitution on this issue is gutless whining.

we get the fact that you are terrified of guns and you want more people defenseless.

You lefties love to blame the NRA everytime some whacko goes postal yet its the NRA who wants to harshly deal with nutcases who misuse weapons and its the NRA that tires of people being disarmed victims. Do you want the school children to carry around weapons ? - Or just the teachers ?? The Amish choose to be pacifists and that is their right-no one says they should be forced to bear arms. However to blame the NRA and the politicians who actually support the constitution on this issue is gutless whining. Quote where I belame the NRA ! I do dondemn those who would do nothing, for fear of offending the NRA..

we get the fact that you are terrified of guns and you want more people defenseless Bullfeces ! I believe you want to go back to the days when everyone carried a gun and many innocents were shot..
I do not fear the gun, but I do respect it.. Most men I would never trust with a gun...
.

Then listen up, Turtle..
The security and welfare of the children is more important than anything - your damned constitution and all the rights in the world to bear arms ! The Constitution is NOT a perfectly written piece of paper, it has been improved and will continue to be..
But I am talking (ranting) about the children..
There are no laws on the PA books to prevent this , or to at least try to prevent.. !
There must be new laws written; the gun happy legislators must get off their lazy behinds and enact some good legislation..
Obviously, NO man needs 600 rounds, this should have set off a red flag right off the bat ; but there are no laws to stop this..This is not right !! Some psychological testing should be done on those seeking arms, the NRA could help here.....

If man would not go around murdering and stealing, we would need NO laws ......
Mighty big IF......

Possible no gun laws that you speak of were broken...
Obviously, laws, and better laws must be written, all efforts must be taken to avert this in the future....

a rather stupid comment. welfare of children will waste away if the constitution disappears. The right to keep and bear arms is in NO WAY responsible for this lunatic killing people=-chill with your hysteria

you don't need to post here. In reality, in the great scheme of things, you don't need to exist because if you are gone, the world still turns. Need has no thing to do with it. I keep lots of ammo because I shoot alot and i tire of hordes of people who are pillowheaded and ignorant telling me I don't need something because they hysterically assume that my rights should be forfeit to assuage their feelings of guilt.

If you had wheels you might be a trolly car. Balls said the queen, if I had them I could be king.

we await the laws you propose. Then I will proceed to take your suggestions apart.

You sure like to enjoy trampling a man's compassion, don't ya TurtleDude. ;)

People should not be up in arms about guns, they should be up in arms about the justice system and be in favor of profiling. But of course, the very ones complaining that it is all the innocent guns are the ones claiming that you can't violate scumbags rights, as if they have any. Seems rather hypocritical.

I get a similar responses when I try to take on those who advocate abortion rights - these people really become irate with their insults , slurs, and put downs.
Obviously,Turtle, you deem your gun rights to be above the school children's right of security..

Man has both the ability to destroy and create, he seems to be very good a both.
I propose strict limits on gun and ammo ownership. No man needs 600 rounds..
As stated before, psychological testing is necessary to filter out dangereous men.. Maybe this has been done by now, we do have plenty of phychiatists running around ,taking money ,and not doing much else..
Forgive the lousy spelling....
Do you propose anything, Turtle, or do you accept the rash of murders as being nothing more than "normal" ??
Are you able to argue anything without resorting to insults and put downs ??....

As I say - society is no better than the sum of its people.....

I am not sure that I want the government to have my psychological test results for any reason just because I want to buy a rifle to go hunt deer in northern Montana.

You’d think so wouldn’t ya? But I see no good that has come from abortion.

“One thing that is seriously wrong is the far too easy to buy weapons and ammo, particularly in Pennsylvania. This animal had 600 rounds !!!

But he didn’t use the 600 rounds did he? He used just enough to kill the girls and himself.

You know there are those who think Jeffersons words are like Gods. That because he coined the term “separation of church and state” in a letter to the Danbury Baptists that, that is enough (even though no mention of separation of church and state is mentioned in the Constitution) and the way we should live today…….I’m wondering what those who are for strict gun control yet for separation of church and state, feel about what Jefferson had to say about firearms.

"Let your gun be your constant companion on your walks... this gives exercise to the body and independence to the mind... no free man shall ever be debarred the use of guns" -

Thomas Jefferson.

Would Jefferson support gun control laws? I think not. Therefore if we take everything he says as the “end all” this shouldn’t even be an issue. The government should not tell you how many or what kind of guns that you can own, or how much ammunition you are stocking.
