If you thought the BBB coming out of the House was going to sky rocket the deficit and debt, wait to you hear about the Senate version.

So "just" $3T for the House version but up to $4.5T for the Senate monstrosity!

But it's OK, they're only asking for a $5 trillion dollar increase in the debt ceiling!

It's a good thing the bill is popular. Oh, wait...

Instead of all this whining, why dont a couple of democrat senators jump on board with the bill that has the lowest deficit?

I only want to see debt as a % of GDP to drop significantly. Actual debt could still go up as long as GDP outgrows the debt. Everything goes to hell during a recession so we must make hay during the good times.

At the current time I can't really determine the actual impact. My gut tells me this will not give me the results I am wanting to see.

I would vote no.

This might be really, really, really, really hard for a Trump Cultist to understand, but the GOP is control of the House, the Senate and the White House.

It is CHOOSING this path and it has the most say and it wants this, there isn't an analyst alive who believes the bogus numbers the GOP are throwing it there, as to how this thing will magically balance the budget.

So instead of whining about Democrats.

Why don't you hold the retards you support accountable.

Wouldn't that be a sight.

"Fiscal conservativism," much like "principles and family values," was never anything more than feel good pabulum the right fed its base as it pillaged and debauched.

"BUH BUH BUH LIBZ!"

Yep, the ‘starve the beast’ (via FIT rate cuts and more deduction, credits, exclusions and ‘special’ accounting methods) idea only led to more annual federal deficit (stimulus?) spending.

You libs seem to be only concerned with the deficit that the BBB will bring about. If thats true, why dont some dems throw their support behind the one that increases the deficit the least? Or is that too difficult a question for me to ask you.

The demorats want FIT bracket rate increases and no SALT deduction cap.

BTW, there’s only one BBB version coming from the Senate. Of course, they’ll ‘promise’ (pinky swear?) to make more “budget” cuts by some (unstated) later date.

Pme of the greatest lies the right has tried is to claim they are for smaller government and government spending.

Almost 3 decades I've watched you guys profess when you srent in power that spending is out of control and in 3 decades ( christ that hurts to type) when you've gotten into power you all become drunk with money.

You dont want a smaller governemt. You want a governemt tailored to your policies. No amount of money is too much for that. You want to punish liberal cities and states while feeding off their tax revenues.
If I was the blue states I would simply cut off your addiction till you got your head straight.

But thats me.

Or better yet, all of it should go down in flames.

And u Trump cult only cares about the debt and deficit when the Dems are in charge..

All of ur accusations are a confession..

U guys are in charge.. This is ALL on u..

Also fiscal conservativism was never actually a thing.
I've watched fiscal conservatives bend themselves so badly for the likes of Bush and trump.

Lol they wouldnt know how to manage their own bank accounts.

Why would democrats support one pile of shit simply because it’s less horrifying than another steaming pile of shit?

Either way this cake gets sliced - MAGA Congress critters are f*cking over average Americans to hand the wealthiest tax cuts.

Both versions are crap.

And MAGA idiots cheer for the steaming piles of shit and slash their own throats out of fealty to Dear Leader.

So go for it.

I’m getting some really nice tax breaks. Back to a $40K SALT cap for the next 5 years…and whatever other goodies my tax guy finds advantageous for us.

I think this entire bill is a travesty - but economically it’s a Win-win for me. I get more money in my pockets while I watch leopards eat MAGA faces

Rand Paul was actually my first choice for president in 2016. He has since disappointed me by sucking up to Trump along with his crazy vendetta against Fauci, but he is one of the few fiscal cons left in the Legislative branch.

Lol, the GOP loves moving us backwards while the rest of the world leaves us behind.

BTW:

Suddenly, liberals are worried about deficits and debt.

You must be very young.

Deficit Reduction Act of 1993

Combined with a strong economy, the 1993 deficit reduction plan produced smaller budget deficits each year. In 1998, the federal government experienced the first budget surplus since 1969. Reflecting the perceived importance of the budget surplus, the New York Times described the end of budget deficits as "the fiscal equivalent of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Republicans made quick work of ****ing that up after getting back in power.
