Some of you may have heard or know of Long Island Audit (Sean Paul Reyes) and his recent success against the NYPD concerning their banning of video recordings in public accessible police precincts. The judge in the case has told NYPD they can no longer enforce a policy that was in contradiction to First Amendment rights.

Well it seems Reyes and another FAA have teamed up with a legal service company so that you can have legal representation via your cell phone 24/7.
Not sure how receptive police will be to having someone refer to an attorney during a traffic stop or other situation but at least the attorney should be able to convince their client to just provide the legally required information and to decline further questions after that.

First thing a lawyer will tell you is shut the **** up.

Pretty much. But some folks need the reassurance they are within their rights to do so.
LEOs pretty much have the mantra, "You're obstructing my investigation by refusing to answer".

I'm always amazed at the number of people who seem to think they're obligated to allow police or gov agents into their home, and seem to think they're obliged to allow unlimited questioning and searches.

As an ex-cop I am aware that most people who are convicted, are convicted out of their own mouths.
