It's a nice try, good effort. What you're failing to realize that in the case of an unorganized protest, where no group is attempting to assemble, the peaceably part doesn't apply. Plus, in this context peacably seems to mean more along the lines of not there to commit acts of violence, not just saying something that you don't want to hear.
So let me get this straight, you're arguing that that definition provided is THE definition used for interpretting the situation. Thus, a law could be passed saying that a bunch of Bears fans can't go into a Packer bar, right? Cause that is a group assembling that is not trying to avoid contentious situations, right? I mean, even if they're not going there to start a fight, they are going there to **** some people off, which, according to that definition is not "peaceable".
Now if the city of Green Bay passed a law saying that a group of people wearing Bears gear is not allowed to walk into a bar with Packers memorabilia and affiliation, how long do you think that law would stand up in court? Not ****ing long. You wanna know why? Cause when it says peaceably assemble it means that rioting mobs aren't protected, it does not mean a group of people who are gonna do something that pisses off someone else, but breaks no law in the process.
And you know that. You just don't like the fact that people who disagree with you are allowed to express their opinions, and so you're trying to argue that they're not allowed to express their opinions according to the constitution.
And dude, don't copy my arguments. I'm not insulting you, I'm observing how your behavior. Insulting is with the intent to insult and anger, while if you actually are an idiot, as you are, and I comment on it, to point out that particular personality trait to you, it's not an insult. Similarly to when you just called me a dick, it's not an insult, cause it's true, I'm a dick, since I am quite clearly smarter than you, and yet I still continue to mock you despite your inability to defend yourself clearly proves that I am a dick.
And you have fun with your dictionary, I know that actually thinking about things is a little too hard for you. But, if you ever feel so inclined to actually use that little brain of yours, try this "Hmmm, well, I am presenting this as the definition that is used in this context. Does that make sense? Well, considering the way things have always worked in this country, would it be logical to think that the first ammendment only supports the rights of groups that don't intend to **** anyone off?"
But yeah, good try though. Makes it seem like you might only be severely retarded.
