And had he not violated his parole by doing this, he would be free and clear. The fact is, what he did was illegal (i.e. against his parole). He was punished for that.
Are you saying he should have been allowed to violate his parole because he was insulting Muslims while doing so?
IIRC, Woods father said that Hillary told him not to worry, they were going to get this guy who made the film....
funny, Obama says he wants to "bring those responsible to justice," little did American's know that meant he would go after Americans not terrorists that actually attacked.
I think that wrong impression Is the one we'll see in the Arab/Muslim world.
That he was [really] punished for 'insulting Islam'.
That part of the Arab World, that is, that doesn't still think it was 'a Jew' behind the film.
Oh yes.. Nakoula initially claimed that 100 Israelis financed his nasty video..
He absolutely intended to incite.
Yeah, what gets me she is she told him he would be arrested. Then he was.

Yeah.....so did the Sunni Clerics in Egypt that called on Muslims to protest the US Embassies. Uhm, I don't see Morsi's azz arresting them!

Are you saying there's something wrong with people who insult Blacks/Jews/Asians/Muslims etc?
Why do you hate America's freedom?
I wonder what the terms of his probation really are. We've been told--by the media--that he was prohibited from, "using the internet", but you just can't keep from wondering if the terms were actually that general.
Big difference between posting YoutTube vids and insider trading.
He used the internet to defraud people, therefore, a condition of his probation was not to use the internet. He signed off in agreement to those conditions, and is bound by them. He broke those conditions, and so the agreement is no longer in effect. He now goes to jail, because probation is in lieu of a jail sentence. When I had my DWI, I was sentenced to a year in jail, but probated to my being free by my agreeing to conditions of my remaining free. Had I broken the terms of that agreement, then the original sentence of a year in jail would have been instituted, because in violating the agreement, I would have made the agreement null and void. Probation is always in lieu of some kind of jail sentence, and if the probation is violated, that agreement becomes null and void, and the original sentence is restored.
It's as simple as that.
While I think it's wrong, I don't think it should be illegal. However, this person was arrested for their VIOLATION OF PAROLE, not because they insulted someone.
