Well is this also the Russian fault ?

Fiery plane crash kills 179 in worst airline disaster in South Korea

Looks like some FSB Agent have blown up this aircraft. The wolrd knows that Russia is behind ever plane crash in the world.
This is narrative from guys who ARE NO MORE ABLE TO PRODUCE SAFE AIRCRAFTS. The Boeing company.
May be it's time to funnel the money for the bloody wars around the world into boosting the quality of domestic goods ? For instance improving the quality of new Boring aircrafts ?
Because we all know that US is not a single nation who is capable to product arplanes. Alas.

More likely a succession of errors large and small. That's usually how accidents happen in the aviation business.

Now that business in Azerbaijan or wherever, that was probably a russian mistake at least.

Quite sad that you’re attempting to twist this tragedy into some deflection regarding Russian’s shooting down a flight recently.

Is this the kind of propaganda that is fed to Russians?

I can't wait until there is another death by falling from a window in Russia.

Nobody is blaming Russia for this as far as I know.
It was a tragic accident.

I saw a couple posts yesterday on DP suggesting Russia was behind it, the Norway plane issue, and the Canadian plane landing gear issue over the weekend.

I am sure in other social media that plenty of people are blaming Russia

Well, one person - @dandolo2k - is blaming the Russians. Personally I think that’s a weird conspiracy theory but if it brings him pleasure or intellectual satisfaction, I encourage him to share it far and wide.

Oh dear, is this the factory setting?

Yeah, that tends to happen when you keep shooting down airliners and denying it. It’s like when a rape occurs in a public park and the first thing the cops do is try to determine alibis for all of the registered sex offenders in the neighborhood. 🤷‍♂️

Watched the landing...no gear, no flaps (tells me a hydraulic failure)....the pilot was bringing it in hot because of no flaps and was doing a good job until they hit the barrier (who puts a barrier at the end of a runway?)

Next Generation 737-700, 800, 900 and the 777 designed in the 90s are probably the safest planes ever built. That was the old Boeing.

Judging from the wreckage it kinda looks like it was an explosion from the interior of the plane

It landed at full speed without the flaps or spoilers deployed or with its gear down, and hit a berm.

FFS, you think that was a bomb?

The Azerbaijani crash was Russia's fault, they admitted it.

This was a different crash, different type of plane.

Yes, you could see the landing gear was still up, suggesting hydraulics issue, assuming would probably affect flaps, too.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Could have been?

Yeah, but they have other options for bringing the gear down. The thrust reverser on the #2 engine was deployed though. There may have been smoke in the cockpit, and the pilots may have not gone through the emergency gear retraction.

This thread explains emergency gear deploy in case of loss of hydraulics. The 800 is a very good plane, before Boeing went to shit.

(who puts a barrier at the end of a runway?
Someone who wants to stop a careening plane from going into a building or into a roadway or into a busy airport parking lot?

There’s usually all sorts of different types of asphalt, etc meant to slow it down before it reaches as far as the barrier, but the barrier is there as a last line of “defense” to prevent more people from potentially getting killed.

Not technically a barrier, it was an embankment with what I believe was an Instrument Landing System localizer.

If you saw the video of the landing, it ran into a barrier at the end of the runway and that did it for those poor souls.

Possibly and bad bad bad.
