But surely your view is illogical, let's say you support the ban, it means that a place will open when you think it should be closed

I don't think gun shops should be closed. I was offering up a comparamise that would allow them to close to appease anti gun fears for a temporary time frame. Then they are reopened allow to do business and if they nees to be closed agian they can be. If you're unwilling to comparamise then fine. The government can not shut down gun shopd on times of emergency. Your choice the temporary program allowing to be **** down reopened and repeat if nessecary or keep them open the whole time.
That is no compromise. In a compromise, both sides give something. The gun shops shutting down and getting noting in return is not a comprimise.
A compromise would be if the gun shops would close down, the anti gun groups would pay them what they would have made in revenue. That way both sides give something and both sides lose something.
