On vacation..... well into it. It is an excellent read. There is a lot more about how Trump won the election and picked his cabinet than I had anticipated.

Don't worry, I haven't read ANY of those pundit's recent "best selling" books, be they from left or right.

I prefer Sci-fi, Horror, and Fantasy. ;)
 
I don't plan to read it, there's enough being said about it. But I trust the integrity of Bob Woodward more than I'd trust that of the Michael Wolff's Fire and Fury, He was doing it more for the money and notoriety but Bob Woodward hardly needs the money or the notoriety. He's written a book on the last 9 president, that's 20% of every U.S. president to date.

Because Woodward is one of the greatest investigative journalists of our lifetime. His work is always well researched and well written. This is the definitive piece on the Trump administration to date.

Because Wolff is a bu****ter and Woodward is a distinguished journalist who has written books and articles on 9 presidents. Those that don't trust Woodward to uncover the truth about trump are either delusional or so highly biased that trump could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Ave. and not lose their support.
 
Not yet, I'm all Trumped out and need to take a break for awhile before I dive deep into the fever swamp. Lately I become physically ill if I read too much Trumpformation, I often can't even scan his Twitter anymore to keep up on his latest bs because it's just too gross.

A while back I might have agreed with you, but multiple people including Mattis, Kelly and Dowd's have denied saying the things attributed to them in Woodwards book

Carl Bernsteins story on Trump having prior knowledge to the Trump tower meeting was recently exposed as fake news by Lanny Davis no less.
Bernstein refuses to acknowledge he lied, and CNN refuses to print a correction.

1. Everyone who has been accused of calling trump a moron in one way or another have all denied it. Do you really think there is such a plot against trump by the media that the media would lie about all of them? Even if it's only half true, it's scary to think we're being led by an imbecile.
2. Bernstein is not Woodward or CNN.

Woodward and Bernstein didn't call Trump a moron. They both published lies and misinformation and passed it off as truth
What's worse is niether one of them has the integrity to admit they lied and or issue a correction.

Woodward has a deservedly stellar reputation.
The fact that you call him a liar shows your blind Trump ignorance.

opinions vary!

but even as all those surrounding trump put on prison jumpsuits the rightie trump supporters stand by their man.

kind of sad to see all those lives destroyed just from being involved with the trump administration. probably none of these crimes would have ever come to light if they hadn't been involved with Trump.

can a man who surrounds himself with so many crooks really be clean himself?
 
I'm waiting till the street peddlers are selling for $1. Won't be long, political books take about 6 weeks to hit that orbit. Right now, working my way through Faulkner, much more interesting, and likely, better written.

Man, you got to be kidding.

Woodward went from Navy Intelligence to become - almost overnight - an "investigative" reporter ... :lol:

Woodward is and has been an FBI asset. Used by the FBI to smear politicians/presidents whenever needed, depending on the political agenda of our "intelligence" agencies.
Woodward does not investigate - he gets information fed to him and then builds his "investigation" around that.
