FBI Said to Recover Personal E-Mails From Hillary Clinton Server

Exactly what Petraeus was being consulted for - yoga routines and wedding dresses. Nothing fishy there at all. Who else would you ask about such things?

Oh. Whew. That's good to hear. I was afraid for a second this was going to become ANOTHER part of the vast right wing conspiracy argument that Hillary is, you know, fundamentally dishonest in almost everything she says and does.

Well, I don't want to be snarky or anything, but Petraeus wanted Trump's opinion and input on the dresses and the yoga too, but Trump was just too self-absorbed to respond. Hillary actually had very little to do with this. Petraeus is the one who offered his services to Hillary.

Likely A) Hillary didn't want to explicitly say "completely destroy everything so it can never be read" and B) the people she had running it (who appear to be amateurs) didn't know how to, anyway. Absolute data destruction is actually pretty difficult.

I think it is just incompetence as usual and her staff didn't know data could be recovered.

Cmon now HB. :2wave: You know she could only go to Petraeus about that Coffee Yoga.

Yeah, big bad bullies picking on the most vicious politician in Washington right now. I lost count of all the people her and Bill have dishonestly smeared. Poor Hillary.

Is that not counting Repubs and their Party NBD?

imagining what he had to offer:
not a problem, hillary, no one will object if you act cavalierly with classified information. it worked for me

I think Hillary expected the people that she paid to do a complete job but they didn't. I bet there was a disconnect between what she wanted, getting someone to do it and having a company that was tech savvy enough to do it. Someone dropped the ball by not communicating what was at stake or the level of cleaning that they needed.

I never said zeroing the hard drive would be sufficient so I guess we agree on something. I don't know if that is good or bad.

:smileyfart

In all fairness, I doubt that Hilary "I am going to be president" ever considered she would be in this mess or anywhere near it.

From the "evidence" much of which is still conjecture, it's rather clear that Ms. Next in Line, was far too arrogant to have bothered with the regulations in the ifrst place.

If there was any hiding done, and who now can deny there was, it was "holy ****" after the fact.

As her story keeps changing, from "we complied in every way" to "I don't know, I can't answer that" its been a game of cover your ass and hope for the best. I truly believe she thought she was in the clear with Gowdie and company as she had so cleverly shut them down on Benghazi, but she has to be sweating now.

This isn't about criminal charges, or getting to any wrong doing. It may be about whether security was compromised, but what its really about is keeping her out of the White House. And its no longer just Republicans who are behind that.

The DNC as much as promised Hillary that she would be the next nominee. I wonder what she has on Schultz. Schultz is doing everything she can do as party chairman to boost Clinton's chances without being extremely obvious. The debate controversy is one example.

Of course. Bill and Hillary are above rules. There is a different set of rules for the Clintons. Even now, with all the proof that is available, there is still a substantial support for the Clintons. Anyone else would have suffered much more damage at this point.

If there was any hiding done, and who now can deny there was, it was "holy ****" after the fact.

Yeah, that is a product of the "privileged" attitude. If caught just deny and play stupid word games. Complacency breeds contempt. Hillary became complacent and now it is biting her. One can only push the limits so far.

There is no way she isn't sweating. Even with all of her hubris she has to have some realization that she is in some hot water.

For the present I agree but I am not so sure about the future. If she attacks the wrong opponent (on the Democrat side) to hard they might leak something that could be devastating enough to expose some serious illegal activity that would be hard for the DOJ to ignore. I am real curious to see what happens when Biden comes out.

The State Dep also looks like it is backing off from their defense of Clinton. Hillary appears before Gowdy in about three weeks. Those are two events that I am really looking forward to watching for possible fallout.

Just a reminder, there is another email dump in the next couple of days.

More bad news for the Shrillary bunch:

A member of Hillary Clinton’s staff at the Department of State emailed classified information about the government in Congo to a staffer at the Clinton Foundation in 2012, according to a copy of the correspondence obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
Cheryl Mills, Clinton’s chief of staff at the State Department, sent the email to the Clinton Foundation’s foreign policy director, Amitabh Desai, on July 12, 2012.
The message, which was originally obtained by the group Citizens United through a public records request, is partially redacted because it includes “foreign government information” that has been classified as “Confidential” by the State Department.
