FBI file disproves Trump-Alfa Bank link
Special counsel John Durham has obtained the complete FBI investigative file on the bureau’s conclusion that there was no secret internet communication channel in 2016 between then-candidate Donald Trump and Alfa Bank, a large Russian lender controlled by Kremlin-tied billionaire oligarchs.

Mr. Durham said Wednesday in a U.S. District Court filing that the electronic case file will soon be turned over to defendant Michael A. Sussmann. The former federal prosecutor doggedly pushed the Alfa-Trump conspiracy when he was legal counsel for the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign and for months after the election.

The Durham investigation was instigated to investigate whether or not senior DOJ or FBI officials in the Obama-Biden administration had tried to manufacture or exaggerate ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Doesn't this seem to exonerate the DOJ and FBI, at least at this point?

When exactly did the FBI come forward and correct the record (playing on a loop) from the left?

The FBI os complicit in the lie. And before you even go there, the FBI has come out MANY times and corrected a public story.

In this case, they did not.

I’m not sure what crime Durham is charging Sussman. Let me also note that just because the FBI couldn’t find a link doesn’t mean one didn’t exist. Even if Sussman got it wrong, that’s not a crime.

Misleading the FBI. He didn't tell them he was working for Clinton campaign when he told his tale.
Made it appear he was just a concerned citizen.
 
There never was a real good reason to doubt the story.

It appeared in late 2016 and sort of sank below the waves of trump cofeve.

Alpha Bank, of course, is a Russian owned, and a favorite for laundering cash out of Russia. Deustche Bank was also favored, although the Rusians don’t own it.

I am fairly certain that Alpha Bank had been involved in financing of several of Trump’s condo project, many of which are havens for money laundering.

Was he obligated to tell them he was working with the Clinton Campaign? If they asked and if he lied it is a crime (you know, the same crime that you argued Mike Flynn wasn’t guilty of committing) — not volunteering information is not a crime.

I guess that becomes part of any trial.

In the meantime, we are still left with the important piece-- that the Trump/Russia collusion story that so dominated the country, and also this site, was the political product of the Clinton campaign.

That’s a logical leap, that is not substantiated with this. The issue was whether there was a secret back channel, that the FBI couldn’t prove. That doesn’t prove it didn’t exist. Nor does it disprove the other pieces of the Trump campaign collusion claims.

During the 2016 collapse of Hillary and the DNC, democrats were so shocked, they began screaming about impeaching Trump before he was even sworn in. They literally manufactured a crisis, lied to the American people, and perpetrated a hoax cloaked in indignant outrage.
