Listen to the video. Black Panther Party, interesting. The FBI arrested two men earlier this week on firearms charges as part of increased law enforcement presence in Ferguson, Missouri, ahead of a grand jury decision in the shooting death of Michael Brown.
Court documents show Brandon Orlando Baldwin and Olajuwon Davis face charges of making false written statements in connection with a firearms purchase and aiding and abetting. FBI spokeswoman Rebecca Wu told CBS News the suspects were arrested on outstanding warrants.
A law enforcement source said the two men allegedly purchased explosive material during an FBI undercover operation to possibly use during Ferguson protests.
Court documents show Baldwin and Davis were arrested and charged with the illegal purchase of two Hi-Point .45 ACP pistols.
Well, two less gun owners walking the streets is a start. Now when the rest of them are round up, we can live in a truly free society. Until then....Almost Black Friday!!!
When we are no longer permitted self defense, it's a free country?
The indictment was handed up Wednesday and unsealed today accusing Brandon Orlando Baldwin and Olajuwon Davis of making false statements to obtain firearms. The defendants’ ages and addresses were not made public.
According to the indictment, between Nov. 1 and 13, Baldwin, also known as Brandon Muhammad, and Olajuwon, also known as Olajuwon Ali and Brother Ali, acquired two Hi-Point .45 ACP pistols at the store, claiming that Baldwin was the buyer when, in fact, the weapons were intended for someone else.
Notices of sealed search warrants suggest federal agents searched three locations during their investigation. Those warrants were not made public and did not identify the person for whom the guns were allegedly being purchased or for what purpose.
It was not immediately known if the men were held or had posted bail.
The police source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said their arrests were part of ongoing investigation that has spanned several months.
Local and federal authorities executed search warrants at two residences, one in the 2500 block of Hampton in the city and the other in the 1500 block of Reale Avenue in north St. Louis County, the source said. The raids yielded information that both men had planned to obtain illegal weapons to do harm to law enforcement and the public.

One can defend themselves with a broadsword and trashcan lid or silly string or running away. Without guns, there will be a lot less to defend yourself against so yes, it will effectively be a free country, at least more free than it is today.

The New Black Panther Party. Not the original Black Panther PArty.
Both are racist hate groups.
Everyone is shocked that you'd have a negative opinion of the Black Panthers, brother. Next, you'll be telling us that Nelson Mandela was a terrorist and MLK Jr. was a communist.
Only racist scumbags wouldn't have a negative opinion of the black panthers.
Mandela was a communist and a terrorist.
Mandela was a communist and a terrorist.
We know apdst, you're not shocking anybody with your opinions. They're quite predictable.
Why did you ask, then?
When we are no longer permitted self defense, it's a free country?
Do you believe that those two men were just wanting to defend themselves?

Nope. One was a militant civil rights group, the other is a militant hate group in favor of black supremacy.
There isn't a dime's worth of difference between them, and the KKK.
The New Black Panther Party and the KKK? Your right, they are both racists. The Black Panther Party and the KKK there is a worlds of difference, because one is in favor of equality and civil rights and the other is in favor of white nationalism and supremacy.
In their early formation they were. But Black Nationalism but were not supramists like the KKK.The old Black Panther Party is a black power and a black nationalist group.
If by "the panthers" you mean The New Black Panthers, then yes you are correct. If by "the panthers" as by the original Black Panthers that was active during the 60's up until the early 80's you couldnt be more wrong. The panthers and the klu klux klowns are opposite sides of the same coin and nothing more.
The original Black Panthers? Or the New Black Panthers? You do realize they are two seperate groups. One is defunct and one is active..I woukd say I'm surprised to see you stick up for those ****ing animals, but I can't.

They were a anti-racist group and stood in solidarity with many groups against racism.

Popular support for the Party declined further after reports appeared detailing the group's involvement in illegal activities such as drug dealing and extortion schemes directed against Oakland merchants.
