I ****ing LOVE Kenny G.! Especially the song “Forever in Love.”

Did you ever see the 1991 movie Dying Young (I believe it had Julia Roberts in it)? I’ve never seen the movie but I’ve had the soundtrack for years. Kenny G. provided the saxophone solo for the theme.

In 1991 I was so deeply embroiled in my career, between working and raising a family, the best I could do was listen to the radio in the car on the way to and from work....and any and all of the top songs of the day were featured on Atlanta's top local stations. 🤗 If I could turn back the hands of time....I'd do it in a heartbeat!

I love Scott Joplin’s rags (and used to play them on the piano when I was a kid), but I’ve always felt that The Entertainer is by far his most overrated work. Many other rags, such as Maple Leaf Rag, Paragon Rag, and The Cascades, are so much better. And here’s my favorite Joplin rag:

Btw, The Sting is one of my favorite movies.
