Not surprising. I have not found FOX News to have anything (other than strong anti-left bias) to offer that challenges the mind.that Fox viewers are less informed, and have LESS knowledge about news than people who don't watch ANY NEWS!
It shows!!!!
"The Fox News Effect"
In 2012, a Fairleigh Dickinson University survey reported that Fox News viewers were less informed about current events than people who didn't follow the news at all. The survey had asked current events questions like "Which party has the most seats in the House of Representatives?" and also asked what source of news people followed. The Fox viewers' current events scores were in the basement. This finding was immediately trumpeted by the liberal media—by Fox, not so much—and has since become known as the Fox News effect. It conjures the image of Fox News as a black hole that sucks facts out of viewers' heads.

What is the Fox News effect? What causes it? This question was originally answered on Quora by William Poundstone.www.forbes.com
Sorry to point out the obvious, but what does a 6 year old article citing a 10 year old survey have to do with today?that Fox viewers are less informed, and have LESS knowledge about news than people who don't watch ANY NEWS!

your facts are ENTIRELY different from our facts!According to what I have read, a lot of "liberals" watch FOX after they get sick of the preaching to the choir on CNN & MSNBC.
FOX has the guts to report news that is politically incorrect, including videos and photographs (of perps, for example).
If it were not for FOX, the American people would be in total ignorance about the facts. (The network news shows are not much better than cable news.)
If it weren’t for Fox News there wouldn’t have been as many new female millionaires today.According to what I have read, a lot of "liberals" watch FOX after they get sick of the preaching to the choir on CNN & MSNBC.

In other words they would be better off and better informed watching loony tunes cartoons. I have to admit, I can't disagree except that watching at least some Faux News helps one understand how loony tunes the Right has become in this country.that Fox viewers are less informed, and have LESS knowledge about news than people who don't watch ANY NEWS!

You think today’s Fox News viewers are any less stupid and gullible than they were in 2012??Sorry to point out the obvious, but what does a 6 year old article citing a 10 year old survey have to do with today?
No value in trying to understand stupid people. You end up frustrated, and they continue being stupid. In other words they would be better off and better informed watching loony tunes cartoons. I have to admit, I can't disagree except that watching at least some Faux News helps one understand how loony tunes the Right has become in this country.
Often, the obvious answer is the correct answer.I didn't see a part where they had a control variable for intelligence. Is it possible FOX viewers are just dumber? That would explain why they're FOX viewers in the first place.
Chain emails and Facebook posts from your friends don't count.According to what I have read,
How exacrlty is Joe Biden going to force capitalist private companies to raise their prices to consumers?Im going to guess that about 80% of the ‘informed’ know it alls think the spike in prices is due to corporate greeed. ( snicker)

Just an excuse for someone to pad their post count.Sorry to point out the obvious, but what does a 6 year old article citing a 10 year old survey have to do with today?
He’s not. What these companies are doing now is based on basic supply and demand. How exacrlty is Joe Biden going to force capitalist private companies to raise their prices to consumers?
