Fact Check: Yes, Oklahoma's new academic standards say to teach students 2020 election fraud myths as fact (1 Viewer)

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out which group of people will spin this to their liking, but...............

Let me translate that for you:

It's not teaching students to discern for themselves IF there was fraud, but to teach them that widespread fraud impacted the outcome on the 2020 election.

In simpler terms, it is teaching students hokum. AND to think members of that particular group of people were whining about liberal indoctrination in schools.

Bonkers that anyone would think that way, wouldn't you agree??
I guess all that crap from the right was nothing more than projection showing us what they will do. This is how far the grand old party has fallen.

**** that. America doesn't belong to MAGAs, and an American's place is here, resisting by all legal means.

Your fellow leftist told a lie, a lie that no one could "flee" from America - I simply corrected it by pointing out he is free to leave.

"Make America Great Again" offends the Stalinists on this board and in the media. Obviously the left doesn't see America as ever having been great.

But MAGA is not a person, nor a group of people - despite the drooling ignorance of the leftists here. The Stalinists lost an election and refuse to abide by the results. Instead they are engaged in insurrection using corrupt judges in attempt to stage a coup to overthrow the executive branch of the government.

That is not "legal means."

Clearly, it soon will be.

That was 2021 - free speech is back. Your side lost the election, even if you refuse to accept it.

That's weird... for some reason - and I am sure purely by mistake - Oklahoma did skip all the questions about 2016 election legitimacy. Bizzare. Did they have it during Biden years? Go ahead, show us.

Yet the left, particularly here, still keep bleating those long debunked lies. But hey, party above all is the heart of democrat fascism.

How come students are expected to pretend there the Big Lie about 2020 election was true?

Your question is a lie.

Discussion questions do not provide the answer, rather the prompt students to question and investigate - something the party does not want or allow.

There is in fact no question regarding the 2016 election. "Russian Collusion" was completely debunked, even by the Inquisition the democrats held. And what is it with democrats putting senile people in charge of critical functions?

Dear Leader's MAGA lies are to be taught.

What lies are those?

That democrats are insane and can't reason?

Your post is ignorant and silly

MAGA ignorant and silly.

Your accusation = confession. Very MAGA of you.

Exactly - you side stepped the question as you have have no actual response to it. Brainwashing of students only happens in MAGA world.

These are not just discussion questions. These are MAGA talking points. Students are supposed to "identify" the party line outlined.

Oh I see, someone did not read the Mueller report or did not understand it.

What lies are those?

Ones highlighted above.

That democrats are insane and can't reason?

Your accusation = confession. Very MAGA of you.

A classroom debate isn't going definitively decide an controversial issue rather it provide an venue where students with different minds and opinions can discuss contemporary/relevant issues, learn a thing or two about both sides of an issue and most importantly be able to formulate and articulate a logical argument.

And after that, when and how are the actual facts and truth disseminated to the class?

Your accusation = confession. Very MAGA of you.

So you know I am but what are you?

How clever

Exactly - you side stepped the question as you have have no actual response to it. Brainwashing of students only happens in MAGA world.

You seek to crush dissent and silence anyone who dares question the party - how fascist of you.

Your accusation = confession. Very MAGA of you.

And?

Oh I see, someone did not read the Mueller report or did not understand it.

Oh, I see someone thinks they can get away with lying about the Mueller report.

{The Office considered in particular whether contacts between Trump Campaign officials and Russia-linked individuals could trigger liability for the crime of conspiracy-either under statutes that have their own conspiracy language (e.g. , 18 U.S.C. §§ 1349, 195l(a)), or under the general conspiracy statute (18 U.S.C. § 371).

The investigation did not establish that the contacts described in Volume I, Section IV, supra, amounted to an agreement to commit any substantive violation of federal criminal law- including foreign-influence and campaign-finance laws, both of which are discussed further below.

The Office therefore did not charge any individual associated with the Trump Campaign with conspiracy to commit a federal offense arising from Russia contacts
, either under a specific statute or under Section 371 's offenses clause. The Office also did not charge any campaign official or associate with a conspiracy under Section 371 's defraud clause. That clause criminalizes participating in an agreement to obstruct a lawful function of the U.S. government or its agencies through deceitful or dishonest means. See Dennis v. United States, 384 U.S. 855, 861 (1966); Hammerschmidt v. United States, 265 U.S. 182, 188 (1924); see also United States v. Concord Mgmt. & Consulting LLC, 34 7 F. Supp. 3d 38, 46 (D.D.C.2018).

The investigation did not establish any agreement among Campaign officialsor between such officials and Russia-linked individuals-to interfere with or obstruct a lawful function of a government agency during the campaign or transition period. And, as discussed in Volume I, Section V.A, supra, the investigation did not identify evidence that any Campaign official or associate knowingly and intentionally participated in the conspiracy to defraud that the Office charged, namely, the active-measures conspiracy described in Volume I, Section II, supra. Accordingly, the Office did not charge any Campaign associate or other U.S. person with conspiracy }}

Hey, if a democrat gets busted posting lies today, have no worry - they'll be back again tomorrow posting the very same lies.

Ones highlighted above.

Discussion questions that question the party cannot be permitted in a fascist society - democrats will not allow it.

Okay, there isn't much you can do about it, but you'll be big mad.

Your accusation = confession. Very MAGA of you.

You're attempt to silence dissent = fascism. Very democrat of you.

Oh and how can something be "very make America great again of me?"

Do the Stalinists here not speak English? The ignorance and illiteracy inherent in these talking points chanted by the drones is jaw dropping.

Do you think Oklahoma schools should have classroom debate over who won the civil war?
Maybe they could have a spirited discussion about whether the moon landing was faked?
We pick topics that are relevant and interesting to the kids. People forget that we're trying to have a self-sustaining conversation that can carry itself. The teacher doesn't want to be doing all the talking.

Everything in a free society is open for debate. Only tyrannies claim that "the science is settled," a phrase that proves the speaker has no interest in the scientific method.
If there was any compelling evidence for things like germ theory not being real or the earth is actually flat… then there would be an actual discussion.

Instead it is reality vs fantasy. They aren’t the same and it silly to pretend that they are.

No low is too low for the GOP.

Oklahoma instituted updated academic standards in 2025 requiring schools to teach high school students that widespread fraud impacted the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election.

This is today's GOP, like it?
Not only that, but schools will be required to teach that the Trail of Tears was named that because the Cherokee and others laughed so hard that they cried during the joyous, fun-filled trip to Oklahoma. All this will accompany the reopening of Trump University’s new campus in the state.

You’re doin’ fine Oklahoma!

I didn't hear about that last part. Wild I don't even think MAGA believe that about the Trail of Tears. And I'm sure the Tribes here will get vocally outraged.

I so hope this isn't true.

Oklahoma instituted updated academic standards in 2025 requiring schools to teach high school students that widespread fraud impacted the outcome of the 2020 U.S. presidential election.
That is just so ridiculous. In what class is this to be "taught"? "Social Studies" I imagine. This course of study focuses on different topics each year, as ChatGPT details below. This Oklahoma schools mandate would only be appropriate in a 12-grade class, when "government" is typically covered. And that's only if the mandate is true, which of course, it is not.

"In the United States, high school students are typically required to take "social studies" courses, but not necessarily every year—it depends on the state and school district.
Here’s how it generally works:

Typical Requirements:

  • Most states require 3 to 4 years of social studies to graduate.
  • The required courses usually include:
    • U.S. History
    • Government/Civics
    • World History or Geography
    • Economics (sometimes combined with government)

Common Structure:

  • 9th Grade – World Geography or World History
  • 10th Grade – World History (if not taken in 9th) or another global studies course
  • 11th Grade – U.S. History
  • 12th Grade – Government and/or Economics
Some schools may offer electives like psychology, sociology, or ethnic studies as part of the social studies department, but these are often optional.
So while social studies is required for graduation, it's not guaranteed that students will have it every single year unless the school or district mandates it that way.

They want to fight a war on truth so they can rule us. We dont have time left.

“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”
― Issac Asimov

If there was any compelling evidence for things like germ theory not being real or the earth is actually flat…

If Straw Man arguments were logical, they wouldn't be fallacy.

But then fallacy is as close as the left ever gets to logic.

then there would be an actual discussion.

Instead it is reality vs fantasy.

Fantasy? You mean like there are dozens of genders that people can change to like chameleons?

They aren’t the same and it silly to pretend that they are.

I understand that the party doesn't want any examination of the the most questionable presidential election in history. Censorship is the way of the left. The idea that the free states allow such questions to be discussed outrages good party drones.

Hey, if anyone questions the party, just lie about them - it's the democrat way.

Standard Disclaimer: Wasn't the Trail of Tears conducted by the very first democrat President, Andrew Jackson?

I believe it was.

democrats have always been racist piles of shit... They never change.

I didn't hear about that last part.
That's because it's a lie she's making up.

democrats - very little of what they post is ever actually true - especially when they are slandering and defaming the opposition.
