Explain to me why farmers continue to vote for Trump?

Farmers all over the country continue to vote for Trump even after he screwed them in his first term. his actions in his first term caused the farmers loss of many of their markets, especially China. It wa so bad Trump had to pass a16 billion dollar bill to help them out. Biden helped work with countries to bring back the farm markets lost during Trump’s first term. Now with Trump’s tariffs, once again the farmers have once again lost the markets and with the cuts to SNAP, many farmers will soon lose their farms without help from the government. When you include the much higher costs farmer’s are contending with due to those same tariffs, farmers are in a world of hurt, much of their problems due to Trump’s policies. So, tell me why a majority continue to glove for and back Trump and also the GOP who do as they are told by Trump?

I'm sure what he meant is that they would vote for him all over again if he was running. And they continue to support him, even after he screwed them. They are in a cult, just as you are.

It's pretty simple. When a people hate the Other more than they love their own, the end up making bad decisions.

This is nothing new. Look at the people of Israel and Gaza - perfect examples of people with so much anger toward the other that they'll both happily cut off their noses to spite the other.

Farmers make hundreds of billions of dollars in subsidies. Government pays farmers insanely high prices to produce corn, which is then refined into ethanol, which government forces gasoline retailers to add to the fuel they sell to meet EPA standards.

It's organized crime masquerading as a solution to the global warming hoax. What a ruse. Ignorant Americans eat that shit up, and feel good about themselves for putting defective fuel (lowered BTU output) in their vehicles.

The collective dipshittery is hilarious.

Agreed, we should get rid of those standards since EVs are better anyway, and let those farmers rot.

Time for them to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps for a change, rather than relying on blue state taxpayers to pay their fat salaries.

Let me guess, you read that thread with those few anecdotes from that one State of a handful of farmers complaining about a bunch of things (including the weather), so now you're an expect on politics that needs to tell farmers how to vote.

Green diesel fuel is a joke. Crap for fuel mileage, less power, clogging of fuel injectors and components and they "smoke" more.....wut?.....thought we were saving the planet?

For the same reasons that most of the poorest and least educated states in this country are "red states".
The farmers (just like red state voters) are fed a line of total bullshit that they can't seem to figure out.
