(CNN)When Dr. Harold Bornstein described in hyperbolic prose then-candidate Donald Trump's health in 2015, the language he used was eerily similar to the style preferred by his patient.

It turns out the patient himself wrote it, according to Bornstein.

"He dictated that whole letter. I didn't write that letter," Bornstein told CNN on Tuesday. "I just made it up as I went along."

The admission is an about face from his answer more than two years when the letter was released and answers one of the lingering questions about the last presidential election. The letter thrust the eccentric Bornstein, with his shoulder-length hair and round eyeglasses, into public view.

No surprise.....This Doctor seems like a real clown.....I wonder if trump will nominate him for head of the VA?

I did keep my doctor, thanks. So did the overwhelming majority of people in the country. Perhaps if you had a job like most of the rest of us do you would have kept yours too, but when you rely on others to take care of your medical needs, you don't always get what you want. Try it sometime.
 
What's really sad is that nearly all of these things we read later that reveal Trump was lying or Trump wrote himself, etc., we all knew way back then anyway.

As soon as I heard, and my wife heard, the over the top, and frankly stupid language in the health report, we assumed Trump dictated it.

It's like that recorded conversation of Trump calling up Forbes to get on the Forbes 500, lying his ass off to do it. Even though he distorts his voice, it's still that same, stupid, over-the topic hyperbole. Sad!

*Also, is there anyone close to Trump that isn't embroiled in scandal or lies or criminal activity?

Also does everyone NOW realize how much of a con-man Trump is??? Of course, he had a con-man doctor. As I said, he's really bad at being a politician. Grabbing the files from his fake doctor just in case...

Yes, I care if it's true. I don't like having a dishonest President who makes his doctor lie about his health.
