Evidently Kevin McCarthy qualifies as one of those things that trump bragged about grabbing...

I do not like the complete lack of decorum on the House floor but I am not surprised by it either. In several respects Rep Eric Swalwell happens to be correct, at this point all Kevin McCarthy is for Republicans is a chess piece for the Trump aristocracy over the House. McCarthy is weak, held hostage by MAGA Republicans, and is largely running a Law Firm for Trump.

Sad times for this nation to see such pathetic exchanges.

Yeah, it's a shame, but the decorum has been bad for some time. Not that it necessarily started with him, but I remember Dick Cheney telling someone to go **** themselves.

Although absolutely accurate, Swalwell’s assertion, while standing on the House floor, was every bit as inappropriate and unacceptable as MTG’s verbal attack on Boebert.

McCarthy certainly is a *****.

However, his biggest problem is that he is a shameless fugging idiot.

He goes from criticizing Trump for Jan 6 to kissing Trump's ass every chance he gets. The man simply has no dignity, just like his entire demented Repug Nazi Party.

I think it's actually an exciting time for this country. It's about time democrats start speaking out loudly. It's unfortunate it has to come to this. But I see no other choice. The GQP has been running roughshod for too long.

We need more strong voices like this.

Sometimes people have had just about enough of the BS. Tempers flare. We've had Trump in the WH for 4 years cursing and bulling people constantly.

That old saying 'When they go low, we go high' sure sounds good. But it doesn't work with a bunch of idiot Trump supporters. I say it's time to take off the gloves.
 
The way I read the story, the Democrat said 'you are a weak man'. It was McCarthy reported to have introduced the word *****, saying if he called him that... and then the Democrat said what McCarthy had challenged him to. So the 'lack of decorum' belongs to McCarthy.

Civility doesn't always work in the immediate, but virtually always works far better in the long run.

Going back to the earliest days in our country’s government, there have been notable verbal and physical confrontations between our federal representatives.

Without exception, none of those events resulted with positive results.
