Yes it should be legal.
I support euthanasia.
But euthanasia doesn't need to be legal as long as I have gun rights.

I think thats a wise choice, even if you are a good shot the cleaning bills you leave behind may impact on the splender of your funeral, and makes an open coffin gig a no no:gunner::tomatofacTried it once already and failed. Come to think of it, maybe I better ask a doctor to help after all.
If any children of mine are foolish enough to waste thousands of dollars on a fancy box within which to dispose of my remains, I will hound them into their own graves next.
If there's enough brain left to be frozen, do that. Strip the rest for useful parts. And then, if you can't feed what's left to the pigs, at very least burn it as cheaply as possible.
It's a corpse. If I still had any use for it, they wouldn't be planning my funeral.
The idea of Euthanasia.
If you found yourself terminally ill and there was discomfort and the expenses were rising. The care and visitation is getting tough on the family.
Do you think that Euthanasia should be legal? Do you think that it should be there if you need it?
But if you are incapable of ending your life, and you can convey your wish to a friend, what then?Whether or not it's illegal is irrelevant. If I'm terminally ill and want to end my life I will do it. I don't need some authority's permission to do so. The only realm in which I would debate for legalization is with assisted euthanasia, for those who are incapable of providing it to themselves.

My mother is 93yrs old, she has set certain health standards when she fails to achieve these she want our help to die with dignity.
So its legality may be very relevant to me.
My preference is to go quickly, and not endure a lingering illness.I agree that it should be legal as well.
You are correct, my mistake.I believe I already said the legality matters for the ones seeking assisted euthanasia.
Generally i think so but it must be regulated in such a way that people arent pressured into it more as a reaction to intense pain.
My preference is to go quickly, and not endure a lingering illness.
However, euthanasia should be illegal. For all the justifications that can be applied, it is still the willful ending of human life. The capacity of the individual to make a measured choice about his or her own life is suspect at best, but the capacity of individuals to make that choice regarding the lives of others is nonexistent. Society is better served when the law seeks to preserve life rather than end it.
And yet man's grandest structures house or honor the dead.My partner and I have talked and decided that if it comes to a certain point where things are not worth hanging onto that we should find a way to end it. There are no machines to be depended upon. There will be no funerals just a cremation and toss the ashes somewhere. I have no use for the ashes i will be dead. It seems silly all the money and foolish things people do to look after a lifeless body.

Good points..My preference is to go quickly, and not endure a lingering illness.

Society is better served when the law seeks to preserve life rather than end it.
