Zelenksy himself however said it will not work without the US. He just wants everything on his own terms. As with every country in history we'd ramp up production of shells if we needed them.
We can convert car factories if needed.

Yes I think that because we make the weapons and know how to build the factories.
Sure it would be expensive as shit to build factories in a hurry but we could if pushed just as the US decided to spend a fortune building a vast fleet or merchant ships during WW2.

Money can do wonders and making a shitload of missiles is just a problem of money.

The US could have made a shitload of f22 in a hurry if you really felt the need it would just have been amazingly expensive.
