I'm very curious where these birthday letters and photos from Epstein's house suddenly came from and the Times certainly isn't saying a thing about the source.

@Amy Hi Amy. These are good questions, but I'm afraid there's not a whole lot I can say because of the need to protect sources who provide us with information. The one thing I feel comfortable sharing is that we published this information as soon as we were able. This is not something we've been sitting on.

I fully recognize that it is frustrating as a reader not to have transparency about where/how journalists get information like this, but I hope you can also understand that protecting sources is paramount -- people need to be able to trust that we will protect their confidentiality when they come to us with important information.

If there ever were to be substantive belief that the real-life Chomsky had pedo involvement, rest assured I will disavow my current forum nick in a NY minute!

That being said, this reporting would seem to indicate the birthday-card letters are indeed legit, and Trump is lying when he said his letter is fake news.

I think Trump's lawsuit is going to be dead in the water.

Associating with someone does not mean you know their dark secrets. The letter claims they were neighbors. The letter also has no indication it is a "birthday" letter.

No way for us common serfs to know. They could be stages for all we know. I doubt it though. Rich people have many other famous contacts.
 
I won't be surprised if Andy Dick is connected to Epstein either.

Epstein said that Trump took pleasure in engaging in sexual activities with the wives of his closest friends. He further insinuated that Trump was essentially a man devoid of friends, incapable of showing kindness. When asked by Wolff, "How do you know all this?" Epstein responded saying, "I was Donald's closest friend for 10 years.

Nothing damning with that. We don't even know if that letter is real or not, but even if it is real, nothing damning. I like younger women too. Assuming the age of the younger woman is an unfounded confirmation bias on your part. How many older men are not taken by the beauty of women in their 20's? I have been with a woman only 22 years old during COVID. A friend and we had mutual needs. My current girlfriend is almost 30 years younger than I am. In her 30's, I am approaching 70.

Why is it wrong to be attracted to younger women? Maybe you only like cougars.

There is only a big nothingburger trying to attach people to illegal activities just because they were in association with Epstein one way or another. there is no proper proof presented. Only allegation and innuendo, that weak minded people like to believe.

Why does this matter? I'm sure he met thousands of people and wanted something to remember the more famous one by.

And I guess that makes them all guilty by association.
They also pictured Epstein with notable figures such as Pope John Paul II, Mick Jagger, Elon Musk, Fidel Castro, Bill Clinton, Larry Summers, Richard Branson, Saudi Arabia crown prince Mohammed bin Salman and former Trump White House adviser, Steve Bannon.


One frame also displayed a dollar bill signed by Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates with the message “I was wrong!” which the Times said was “possibly as payment of a bet”.
This it a waste of time but a definite passtime for the democrats who have ruined their party. When there is some actual evidence ,"proof" of wrongdoing, then post it.

That's why we need all of the evidence to come to light. People who sent a birthday card because he was on a corporate mailing list due to some brief business relationship will be fine.

No defense is needed. Innuendo and allegations with no fact do not need to be disproved. They need to be proved in order to have any validity.
