Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Schooling (1 Viewer)

The Left has been trying to indoctrinate kids in public schools for decades. Even if Trump and Republicans try to indoctrinate kids, they will be nowhere near as successful as Leftists have been.

Mark

With the GOP controlling all three branches of government, evidence of the success of this so-called left wing indoctrination would appear to elusive.

In theory, to deduce racial tension and expand diversity.

In practice, it enflamed racial tension and had little effect on diversity.

Seems like if it had little effect on diversity it wouldn't have caused such tension.

Corporations and colleges embrace it because they see the advantage of having a program that reflects the world we live in. Its the government that forces them out of it.

Jackie Robinson was DEI and deduced racial tension.

And today, we celebrate him.

I stated that DEI is per se racism.

The rest is from you.

Where are these mythical hoards?

They are more spoken of than seen.

You said that.

I said that DEI is racism.

You should apologize. and read more closely.
Which race though?

As I understand it it’s about all forms of racism. As well as things like gender and sexuality.

From here it just looks like ignorant white folks don’t like seeing anybody succeed and sure as **** don’t want one of those dirty brown folk getting ahead of them.

If you want to be a good revisionist, your output needs work. As a teacher myself, I find this laughable.

For example, DEI was systemic racism to favor a minority. Another is that the standard is equality, not equity
Explain what DEI is.

DEI is a bad idea that was poorly executed.

It caused more racial tension than it alleviated. That alone is sufficient reason to end it.
How did it cause more racial tension.
Did it make you uncomfortable having to work next to a black female teacher that didn’t teach that slavery was beneficial to black people ?

Dei is racist, so what is your point?
Explain how.

If it is not hard to understand that DEI is systemic racism, why have you not figured it out?
Please explain. If DEI is racist and it’s so prevalent. Why are white males the vast vast majority in power and not minorities?

From your graphic, Trump received over 14% of the Black vote. That comes from Trump's 3% divided by the sum of both candidates, 3% + 18% = 21%...

Harris and Trump voters by race:
Screenshot (1).jpg

The above graph shows the total vote by race, of the total votes Trump received, 3% were black. AP VoteCast doesn't create graphs that require math to read.

...Donald Trump IMPROVED his standing with voters across racial demographics, including white voters (from net +13 in 2020 to net +16; 40 percent Harris – 56 percent Trump), Hispanic voters (from net +38 in 2020 to net +11; 53 percent Harris – 42 percent Trump), Asian-American and Pacific Islanders (from net +31 in 2020 to net +20; 58 percent Harris – 38 percent Trump), and Black Americans (from net +84 in 2020 to net +67; 81 percent Harris – 14 percent Trump)...
The 14 percent highlighted indicates the how much of an IMPROVMENT Trump made with black voters, NOT the total percent of the black vote he received.

...If you don't understand how to read a graph, don't comment. It's not a good idea to talk of something you do not understand in front of those who do.
What an ironic statement..

For the 6th time you've refused to answer the question of what you believe has cause the huge disparities in the wealth, employment, homeownership, income, education and health outcomes between blacks and whites. At this point I can only deduce that you do blame the victims, which is a belief founded in racism...

Trump has begun his fascist Indoctrination of America's children. Not only is Trump diverting millions from our public schools to religious and for profit schools, he's attempting to mold our students into his vision of a "patriotic American". By virtue of Trump's all powerful, unquestioning right to dictate what American students will, or will not be exposed to in K12 classrooms, he decrees that;

Discriminatory equity ideology” means an ideology that treats individuals as members of preferred or disfavored groups..."
"An individual, by virtue of the individual’s race, color, sex, or national origin, is inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously"
"White Privilege” or “unconscious bias,” actually promotes racial discrimination..."

I.e. Whites are the real victims of discrimination.

Trump claims that;
"..young men and women are made to question whether to view their parents and their reality as enemies"
E.g. White kids might get the crazy idea that their ancestors created a system that has kept blacks from attaining equity in, wealth, employment, homeownership, income, education and health outcomes.

"eliminating Federal funding or support for illegal and discriminatory treatment and indoctrination in K-12 schools, including based on gender ideology and discriminatory equity ideology"
I.e. Systemic And Structural Racism does not exist.

To ensure his dictates will be enforced, Trump has created a group of ideologues to oversee that his demands will be met;
"The 1776 Commission shall be composed of not more than 20 members, who shall be appointed by the President for a term of 2 years. The 1776 Commission shall be made up of individuals from outside the Federal Government with relevant experience or subject-matter expertise.
E.g. Fox commentators.

It's said that, "history is written by the victors". Which is generally true, for example, Trump won the election enabling him to whitewash American history. Although in the case of The Civil War, while blacks won their freedom, its history was written by both Northern and Southern whites...

^^^^ rants in liberal.

Christianity has practiced religious indoctrination throughout history. Most Christians had little choice in becoming Christians because their parents imposed their religion on them, and gave them no choice.

Without religious indoctrination religions would be the minority.

If humans were allowed to attain the age of adulthood before being forced to practice religion, and then informed the decision was totally theirs and theirs alone, the world would have a lot more agnostics and atheists, and fewer believers.

People would consider good to be what is good for society and recognize that throughout history good is more popular than bad, that it is logical to play nice with others because what is good for society is good for individuals. No religion required to reach this conclusion.

Faith in humanity to self-preserve is far superior to faith in a supposed creator-overseer being.
Should the government raise children to keep them from forced religion?
Because people raised in religious homes have such poor outcomes?

Parents raise their children, not the government. The vast majority of parents who want to indoctrinate their children into their particular religion do so in their homes. The parents who want to go full bore can send them to religious schools at their own expense, our government has no business paying parents to indoctrinate their children.

Only a small percentage of kids forced into religions from birth have the wherewithal to understand their indoctrination for what it is. In this day and age there's no reason to continue brainwashing children into belief systems created in ancient times by primitive humans. "Religions emerged as a way for early humans to understand and connect with the world, particularly in the absence of scientific knowledge"...

Supporting a felon as our leader is a poor outcome. These people have been taught since childhood to pick and choose which parts of the Bible they will observe and that its perfectly OK to just chuck the rest. It's not a big stretch for them to treat the Constitution the same way. There is an alarming portion of Americans who support Donald over the Constitution. Something is wrong there. These fake "Christians" are just as fake "Americans" as they are "Christians."

Our nation is based on our founding documents.

The people of our nation must either support the Constitution or justify why they believe the Constitution should be Amended. And if they do not have the support to Amend the Constitution then they must accept that they have to abide by the Constitution as it is.

Nobody is above the law. The Constitution is the basis of all laws in the USA.

No person is above the Constitution.

Maga wants to place Donald above the Constitution. That is wrong. Maga is wrong. Maga must be overruled.

I do not believe the government should take children away from parents who are doing a bad job.

I do believe public schools should be supported and allowed to teach children that their parents are wrong.

Nobody is born a racist. That is learned in the home. The only way this nation can reduce racism is for the government to take action.

No public money should be used for religious schools.

I agree no public money should go towards a religion anything.

But I wouldn't be so down on religious families. The core of most religions is compatible to our bill of rights and typically along the line of traditional liberalism.

I have no problem with religion as practiced by adults. That is part of freedom. My observation is that religious child indoctrination takes place where parents tell their children religion is fact. This produces adults who assume everyone else shares their religion, or that it is OK to have government influenced by religion. No. It is not OK. Religion and government are two different things. Everyone does not share the same religion. Many observe no religion at all.

A simple faith in humanity to do more good than bad is possible without religion. A belief that what is good for society is ultimately good for everyone can be a better life guide than any religion.

It should be a crime to infect the next generation with racism or religion. Humans should be allowed to attain adulthood before choosing a religion or deciding if they even want one.

There is a perfectly good life without religion.

There is a perfectly good life without racism.

The way the two of them are taught to children is the same. It hurts our nation deeply. We should come up with a national plan to end racism and give children all the information about how religion is spread. Children should certainly know that they are free to make their own choices, and they should really grow up before doing so.

Public schools should teach children about these things. If parents want to educate their children in a different way they should have to pay for it, not the public. Religious indoctrination schools should be taxed heavily. They certainly exact a costly toll on society.
