Not to get religious, but do you sense a culmination of events coming soon? There seems to be a frenetic pace of world activities leading to something profound.
 
Time won't end. The planet will be fine. You're asking if humanity will end? I don't think so.
 
I do...people have lost the love they once had for each other...we act more like wild animals than humans and it's only getting worse...but it doesn't surprise me...
 
Even if nothing happens soon, global conflict is inevitable as a result of climate change. **** all to do with religion, though. :🤷:
 
I can not discuss this topic without getting religious. So, my answer will simply be that there will be an end of life as we know it today and a new beginning will follow.

Every generation thinks the way you do...but life has a way of going on.
 
Does seem we're always in crisis mode. The challenges will never end, so we'll have to deal with or adjust to whichever is the greatest threat at that moment.

Probably adjusting to climate changes is currently on the top, but a particularly nasty pandemic might get bumped to the top spot in that moment.

definitely YES...

we are in the END of Times...and i advertise that quite frequently in Beliefs. please join us in the April 8 thread, the first End Times continental warning for usa.

now we have Warning Dates almost every month; finishing last month with July 9 with the CNN warning that this will be the summer from hell. https://www.cnn.com/2025/06/30/economy/trump-summer-of-economic-hell

that should get yur attention huh?



and it should continue to get worse thru 2025 if we make it to December; the usa prolly wont last too long at the rate we are going.

History, even American history, has seen MUCH worse & frenetic times than these.

The "end of times" will occur very soon for all of us..................its called death..........

True but I think it's the attitudes of the people that's different...Paul described our times very aptly long ago in 2 Timothy 3...

"critical times hard to deal with will be here...lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal,  having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness,  betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God,  having an appearance of godliness but proving false to its power;"

Well, yeah----------but Socrates descibed society that way long ago, and honestly, you just described everything west of Chicago in 1870...........

In a way, we have a danger to the point I can agree. We never had a national "leader" who gave such a terrible moral & behaviorable example to the citizens

One thing's for sure, there is no shortage of forecasts of doom and gloom. With the advent of the internet and the ease of worldwide communication through social media, it's a haven for the natural human tendency of "this is the generation", "the time is at hand" giving many an avenue to make money predicting the end of the world, lol.

Hopefully it will be something "profound" to make people turn to doing good to their neighbor and each other for in the cosmos of our time, life is short. We can do better......We are better.
 
It better not be the end times as I still want to watch the last few series of Silo and Star Trek Strange New Worlds.

As much as I hate the term singularity, it does seem like we are heading toward runaway acceleration in AI, energy production, and biotech...all within the next decade. Sort of the tech version of the Rapture or the Eschaton.

I don't know if it will literally be the end times, but it does seem like humanity will be so profoundly changed that the world might be unrecognizable in 10 years.

Think of the events during the Mongol Conquest, or during the Black Plague, or either of the World Wars, or during fall of the Roman Empire, or during the rise of the Ottoman Empire. All of these were much more consequential than the days we were living in now and people in those days thought they were living in the End Times.

My Southern Baptist mother said it was the "end of times" every decade since I was a kid. Never happened.

Ya, I think on July 9th, I had a good day at work.

OK Revelation, let's do the math. You've got thirteen events in 3.5 years, fourteen spaces, 3.5/14= 0.25, so every three months there is an event. From December 14, 2020, from June 21 2023 and from December of 2026. Only the first event of each of the three iterations is prominent at the White Horse, so far, the coronavirus and Maui burning down.

So September 22nd thereabouts we'll be passing by the second vial.

The thing about 10.5 year Convergence, is that you think it's over after two iterations, but no, there is more yet to come.
