Elon Musk Explained To a “T”

The bedrock of American conservatism is this type of hypocrisy. The pilgrims came to the new world for freedom of religion. Except it was only for their freedom of religion. Everybody else can kick rocks.

"To each their own." Unless their own is unlike my own.

The vasectomy question is so ****ing stupid. I can't believe people think that's clever. A person would have to be an utter moron to think it makes a point and then to push it.

Noah nails Musk and Twitter!

Elon has, for year, taken on projects and fumbled about and figured it out. It's like ya'll think he became the riches man in the world on accident. Yes, Noah, who failed at his job, is going to make a valid point.

Except that it opened the hypocritical "to each their own" line.

Can the richest man in the world be wrong?

Point out where Trevor’s analysis is wrong.

A tasty little nugget of non comedy from a non comedian.

Isn't it funny how's the people that run a foul of him just start either incredibly washed up or never were comedians?
What did you find in error in the portrayal of Musk’s actions pointed out in the clip?

Just stating contempt for the hack they replaced John Stewart with.
Start a thread, what do you think of his opinion/analysis of Musk’s actions since his big purchase?

Can the richest man in the world be wrong?
Sure...but benefit of the doubt comes to play and you wait to see what happens.

Yes...his ratings sucked.
It's more nuanced than that. While the nightly viewship was down, the Daily Show's social media presence was way up with key demographics. Comedy Central was very surprised by his announcement. They were not unhappy with his work at all.

"“The Daily Show” gained 31 million social followers since he took over from Stewart, for a total of 45 million per Domo data. According to TubularLabs, Noah’s version has amassed more than 15 billion views. It’s received the most mentions and post comments thus far this year, per ListenFirst. Year-to-date the series has more than 1.8 billion views across social and more than 31 billion minutes watched, per Domo."

Twitter really looks like a super shrewd investment.
I'm sure he's bound to make his money back at some point.

I bet all the twitter investors who he forced mountains of money onto are super gutted about now.
Musk has also done a bang-up job of winning hearts and minds by ruthlessly firing half the staff without notice, that's always a super popular move.

Yep, it's all going super swimmingly so far.

Cons worship money and the status of those who have more than them. So no.

If only we could shovel some more money onto the super rich trickle-down might start to finally work and all our problems will be solved.

Wont someone think of the future descendants of the super rich?
They need super yachts as well you know.

More social media growth has happened from 2014 until now, as well as bot increases

Firing half the staff is a very good move. It's was overly bloated, quite obviously, especially at the top end.

Right. SM is more important than broadcast media for the key younger demographic. I view the DS solely on the internet. I don't even get broadcast TV, and I'm not in that younger demographic.
