Elon Musk dramatically steps down from DOGE in shock move after Trump expressed private doubts

Oh, he'll still be running DOGE, just not so publicly. It's still his people. He just won't be hanging out in the WH as much. Maybe move into Mar-a-Lago full time.

DOGE has not been held accountable for its incompetence and frivolous waste...has it? And it's continuing. But you seem fine with DOGE frivolously wasting taxpayer $$ and carelessly removing consumer $$ from the economy....costing more tax dollars. Why is that?

We're looking at 10's to maybe 100 thousands of people being fired (they attempted 80,000 in one dept). Thousands more are afraid they will be. They are removing all these American's buying power, which drives the economy. Now, many farmers and their workers will be joining those ranks, also losing their buying power.

The WH clown car lurches on....

It was Trump who said this was simple and could be done on day one. Oops it is more complicated than that???? DOGE has effed up everything it has touched except for 2 things. Hacking everyones information and cutting necessary programs that can be easily backfilled by Musk companies. That was on purpose and by design. If not by Trump then by Musk himself. That much is evident. He has already been replacing NASA and FAA functions with his companies privatization. You are kidding yourself if you think he has best interest of the nation in mind. He is out to grab whatever he can to make more money for himself. DOGE is a scam...it always was.

I dont understand why it's so hard to debate in good faith and just respond to civil debate honestly. IMO a lot of people are so consumed by their bias they dont think things thru. And get pissed when that's pointed out. Esp. now, so many, despite winning, are still focused on "stickin' it to the libs."

And yet this administration is delivering a lot of churn they dont know how to deal with and so just blindly latch onto it...and then come up short when they cant defend the indefensible.
