Looks like this dipshit knows which way the wind is blowing and it's no longer towards Trump. Elon, JD and Peter Thiel seem to be betting on Trump's quick demise.

Trump is the most loathsome, slimy individual on the planet and when he's gone I think the world will be a better place. However, the new lineup with all the money backing Vance is terrifying. The only saving grace is that Vance has absolutely no charisma.

The only saving grace is that Vance has absolutely no charisma

And yet (somehow) he's more charismatic than any notable Democrat besides maybe Newsom.

Going to call it now: if Vance wins, we're all going to be nostalgic for Trump. We've unfortunately got a long way to go before the bottom of the iceberg.

Now you're taking the piss.

I really wish I wasn't.

I suppose if I wanted to be more specific, I'd say that no notable Democrat candidate is more charismatic than Vance (besides maybe Newsom), but Vance isn't notably more charismatic than any particular opponent.

Basically the field is full of shit and we're all ****ed.

I think Vance will be president.

Because I think Trump is a couple of months from blowing an o-ring.

If Biden won, don't see charismatic as being necessary.

I think Biden has that old school labor Democrat aesthetic and wholesome grandpa thing going for him. That's definite a kind of charisma.

There's a reason Biden beat Trump and Kamala suffered a historic loss and it has everything to do with the candidates involved.

Biden won on negative numbers for Trump. Trump won on negative numbers for Biden and his Admin. Dem candidate only has to be marginally better with his message.

Charismatic comes into play with margin of victory. Granted, would helpful but not necessary.

This is no surprise. Musk's party had about no chance to do anything but split the Republican vote. Vance is wholly owned, wholly serving the fanatical agenda of Musk and Thiel, and in office to become president.

If this were Jeopardy, the question could be, 'how do you get Americans to want trump in office?' I really think Vance can be worse.

There are actually a few charismatic Democrats but they haven't announced a run for the Presidency at this point. Wes Moore and Josh Shapiro come to mind. It is early days.

Vance sure has no appeal with the American public. From AI.

J.D. Vance has been booed at several public appearances since becoming Vice President in 2025. His latest incident occurred in August 2025 during a photo op with National Guard troops in Washington, D.C..
Recent booing incidents in 2025
  • Union Station, Washington D.C. (August 2025): Vance was heckled and booed by protesters while handing out hamburgers to National Guard troops alongside Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller. Protesters shouted "Free DC!" and "From DC to Palestine, occupation is a crime," criticizing the Trump administration's decision to deploy troops in the city.
  • Kennedy Center, Washington D.C. (March 2025): The Vice President was met with loud and sustained boos from audience members as he and his wife, Usha Vance, entered a National Symphony Orchestra concert. Social media videos of the incident went viral.
  • Republican Dinner, Ohio (June 2025): During a speech at a Republican Party dinner in Lima, Vance was filmed briefly making a middle-finger gesture while referring to protesters. The gesture was met with some applause, but also some boos and mixed reactions.
Past booing incidents (prior to 2025)
  • International Association of Fire Fighters Convention (August 2024): Vance was booed and heckled while giving a speech at the union's convention in Las Vegas. In response, he waved at the crowd and later stated that their hostility did not bother him.
  • Ohio Republican Primary Rally (April 2022): When campaigning for the Ohio Senate seat, Vance was met with a mix of boos and cheers at a rally attended by Donald Trump. Vance had been a vocal critic of Trump in the past before seeking his endorsement.

Well, sure, because it's more and more likely that trump might not serve the full term of this Presidency.

And, yes, "the new lineup with all the money backing Vance is terrifying", especially because it will be used in service of such a slimy, sleazy, anti-American, anti-democratic, anti-rule-of-law rabid right-winger.

Not remotely surprising.

In other news...again, Edolf likely has a backdoor into any info he wants now. So...what does he know that's not being made public? Is TACO fading fast?

So far, Democrats dont have shit to run against him, no message, no balls, and no chance.

Yeah, the two candidates who lost to Trump were women.

Neither of whom were particularly good candidates.

For that matter, neither was Joe Biden, but Trump was also a bad candidate.

Mush senses that Trump may be on the way out, so being an opportunist, he’s leaching onto the next idiot in line

Vance met with boos?
Was Hegseth and Pirro there?
