Hey, great 'progressive' leader Elizabeth whatshername.

She could have endorsed Bernie in 2016. She did not.

She could have dropped out before Super Tuesday and endorsed Bernie, countering the corporatists, and not splitting his vote. She did not.

She dropped out now and could have endorsed Bernie, as late as it is. She did not, saying she is not immediately endorsing anyone.

She didn't need to try to bring down Bernie with an absurd, unverifiable attack that he doesn't think a woman can win, but she did.

I'm over her. She has betrayed any progressive unity and support over and over and over.

Agreed.

When some others were calling her a snake, I was defending her, making excuses for her; no more. It hurts, but one has to deal with the reality they're given.

She is clearly more loyal to her party than her supposed ideals.

I didn't join the 'snake' attacks. I think she has done a lot of good and fought for a lot of good things. She's been a very good politician and Senator as far as her own policies and advocacy.

But she has sucked as a 'team member' for progressives and ally of Bernie. Bernie hates his supporters attacking her excessively personally, the 'snake' attacks, and I support his position on that. But I've lost much use for her as a progressive ally, and just support her where she is a better choice as a politician. I'm fine with her continuing in the Senate. A darker issue is whether she conspired with centrists to hurt Bernie.

I think it's exceedingly probable horses were traded to keep her in for ST, given her campaign was clearly over after SC.

Which would go a long way toward justifying the snake attacks if true, as she fought to help the corporatist defeat the leading progressive. Let's hope that's not the case.

Warren is a Democrat and proud of it. Endorsing Bernie was out of the question. You guys are so obsessed with "betrayals" you forgot to get enough votes to win again. What good are Bernie's policies if he loses the election? It's time to start backing winners and set you sights on electing representatives that will vote for Bernie's agenda instead of whining and complaining about betrayals. This is not the election to make a revolution so vote to rid us of Trump please. Don't be a dick.

You know one thing that reeeeeeally bothers me about Bernie is that he is not a Democrat. And yet, Democrats are supposed to rally around his revolution? Why? Bernie only switches parties when it suits his aim, otherwise he is not a part of them. Why does Warren owe Bernie any loyalty?

Campaigns are mean. Move on and focus on the big picture, which is defeating trump this November.

We'll have to wait to see who she endorses.

If she endorses Mr. Biden, it will prove she's a snake conspiring with the centrist establishment to crush Sen. Sanders and real progressive change in America.

If she endorses Sen. Sanders, it will prove she's a snake who put her own political ambitions above the good of the country, and that her vainglory cost Sen. Sanders the presidency.

If she endorses neither, it will prove she's a cowardly snake unwilling to commit to a position for fear of alienating voters.

If she bakes an apple pie, it will prove she's a snake for not using enough cinnamon. (Snakes hate cinnamon.)

As usual, the commentary and analysis in these threads is a treasure trove of political wisdom. :)

That's your problem. I care more about supporting Democratic values and policies, which Bernie is the best at. He keeps a little distance because the party leadership is so corrupted with big money donors, and he's right. Good Democrats agree with Bernie and want to improve the part and fight to remove the corruption and return the party to voters. Bad Democrats don't.

You Bernie Bros better be careful here and no try to ostracize Warren supporters. Dragging her name in the mud and making up **** about her will not swing their votes towards Sanders. From what I have seen so far, I wouldn't blame them for voting Republican. So ****ing stop it. Just stop.

Warren made a lot of bad moves during her campaign but she is still a strong progressive that will more often than not vote for progressive policies. She feels like the movement is best served by running parallel to the establishment as opposed to Bernie's head on approach. Movements take time and both strategies have their advantages and disadvantages.

She's pure politician, which means she's probably in talks with Bidens camp to arrange a deal where she endorses Joe in return for a position in his administration, should he win. Hillary Clinton traded her endorsement for the Sec of State job in 2008.

It's not just my problem. Bernie is the best at being a dreamer and an idealist. Bernie is a millionaire with three houses. He is not one of the small people he is trying to lead.

Good luck with removing corruption in politics, overnight. It ain't gonna happen. Change takes time. Bernie has value in the arena of thought, but he doesn't have the ability to lead a revolution that is going to happen in the next few years. I think you and Bernie's young followers are going to create your own revolution, and that's when it will work. Just have patience. It will happen.

I'm gonna laugh when she endorses Biden because Bernie Bros are douchebags.

I largely agree with the thrust of this, though in my view she already traded horses for a policy, cabinet or VP position to remain in the contest unto ST, and can get something further from Biden in exchange for her endorsement.

She made some, that I will agree with. But she also rocked most debates and worked tirelessly.

I don't think we have to wait. We know she chose not to immediately endorse Bernie, which takes her off the 'top progressive leader' list.

I don't agree with that either. She still has done a lot of good, and there's a chance that she is positioning herself to be Biden's VP, to provide someone that will help bring out more progressives, to address the huge party division, and I'm ok with that and would not see that as a betrayal.

You know I'm progressive. I preferred Warren, but Bernie is also progressive. If I were a voting Dem, Hell would freeze over before I'd cast a vote for Sanders because of the asinine Bernie Bro douchebags.

Biden would be lucky as **** to have her in his cabinet.

Bernie Bros are Che T-shirts at a community college.

I think Biden being who he is would beg to differ; I don't see him as interested in Warren outside of her horsetrading to get there which is probable in my estimation.

It's not just my problem. Bernie is the best at being a dreamer and an idealist.

Garbage attack, trying to turn the critical qualities we need into attacks. FDR was a dreamer and idealist. JFK was a dreamer and idealist. Garbage. Bernie is a dreamer an idealist and pragmatist.

Bernie is a millionaire with three houses. He is not one of the small people he is trying to lead.

Neither was JFK, yet he started the war on poverty. Bernie writing a book doesn't harm his policies to help people. Another garbage attack.

Good luck with removing corruption in politics, overnight. It ain't gonna happen. Change takes time.

Another garbage attack. A straw man, 'fixing corruption isn't overnight, so vote against the candidate fighting it and for the candidate who embraces it and won't fight it.'

Bernie has value in the arena of thought, but he doesn't have the ability to lead a revolution that is going to happen in the next few years.

Another garbage attack.
