This is disgusting. As a working class person with a young daughter the one thing I will not stand for is a politician that says mean things about hugely powerful and wealthy forces particularly if they pair it with talking about expanding the social safety net. Working people get plenty in this country; it is far past time that we focus on the true victims in our society such as Amazon or Walmart.

So the common definition of God is wrong? Isn't God supposed to be omnipresent? Doesn't that mean that He is everywhere, all the time (what would time even mean to a god)? & therefore He can't be kicked off from anywhere nor anytime. If His will sustains the universe - another way of stating the common position on God - then He's there to stay, for all time, forever & ever. & so on ...

I suppose Obama could not see how brutally out of line he was with American freedom when he essentially told the nuns: 'Damn your religion, you will pay for contraceptive and abortion coverage under Obamacare whether you like it or not.'

The right's ignorant way to look at issues is to call them 'communists' and 'not communist' or 'capitalist'.

As was posted, anything they don't like, meaning anything the wealthy interests told them to not like, which they follow the orders like good little minions, is 'communist'. And they have nice false equivalencies for that - anything 'communist' threatens to make us like Stalin and Mao.

This is why you had Ronald Reagan, when he entered politics, being the hired national spokesman for the AMA to oppose Medicare, saying if it passed, the US would no longer be a free country. The same idiocy would oppose everything from public roads to public schools, but they're happily selective when they apply their labeling as communist, including not doing it when they 'like' the spending, such as the corrupt military weapon industry.

There is no 'Mao' or 'Stalin' to exemplify the 'other side', the 'capitalist' side being incredibly corrupt and harmful - because we ARE the Stalin or Mao of capitalism, as we waste vast amounts, corrupt our democracy, destroy our environment and climate, have record inequality and people without healthcare.

The real issue isn't 'communist' which no one wants, or 'capitalist' which is a vague word that includes anything - it's plutocracy, and that's our problem, our 'communism'.
