"Obviously, this election cycle was pretty divisive. Unfortunately it's bled over into the weeks following the election and I have been inundated with death threats, death wishes, generally angry messages trying to get me to change my vote to Hillary Clinton or another person, and unfortunately, it's gotten a little out of control." Banerian said.
Banerian said he has been threatened with violence.




"I've had people talk about putting a bullet in the back of my mouth. I've had death wishes or people just saying 'I hope you die.' Or, 'do society a favor, throw yourself in front of a bus,'" he said.

We went through the last 8 years, and this election cycle being lectured on how the right was violent, how the right was intolerant, and on and on and on. We've had this administration say veterans were a threat of becoming domestic terrorists, and on and on and on. Come to see now, who the violent ones are. if it was only the so called "alt-left", but it's mainstream left leaning personalities as well. It's unfathomable how we as a nation tolerate this sort of direct threats against individuals such as the article above.

Never have I seen so many threats, on twitter, on facebook, by hollywood dooshbags, it's amazing we had a legal lawful election and these people who scream of "fascsism" are turning out to be the actual violent, intolerant fascists they claimed everyone else was.

Go onto Facebook, then go to a conservative page and look at all the comments about Hillary and Obama. There are many comments there about how Hillary should be tried and shot, Obama should be hung, etc. It's not just liberals that do it, it's also conservatives as well.

Pretty much anything from CNNPolitics.com shouldn't be considered breaking news, it is opinion and innuendo. It isn't specific to this individual and his claims, but in general:

From the story: "CNN has not spoken with the police department or verified any threats against Banerian."

That isn't the way news works!

They interviewed an elector, who stated he received death threats. I find it dismaying that you find that he's speaking out more deplorable than the idea that the alt-left are engaging in terrorism against electors.

show me where a majority of posters here have condoned death threats to those folks. Just because people don't comment on every single thread, every single comment does not mean condoning. I have never excused threats of violence or death threats to be used to coerce an election.
