Ever notice that Democrats do not write statements that are full of crap like the statement I quoted? Read it again? Name calling, stupid analogies that are pointless and untrue. Why? I can only think that there must be some weird sexual rush that these people get because why else would they make up stuff that is so untrue?

Do you see any facts in the above statement? NO! Do you see any attempt at a debate? NO! Do you see any level of intelligence? NO! The remark is pointless and written for only two reasons, to get pats on the back from others who share the Liberal bashing philosophy and to try to anger their opponents. It seems, based on the quality of the post, that our honorable opponents have popped their wad and have nothing left, they're hanging limply in the wind.

I would prefer to see some level of intelligence displayed and a sincere attempt to debate the issues of the day. Is that beyond the capability of some of you? Is it a stretch to actually believe that our political opponents have the capability to have a debate without general Liberal bashing?

I for one would appreciate the upgrade....

If we all went by what YOU consider worthless, there'd be only one side to every debate, making this site irrelevant. There is no statement from debatepolitics.com that says, "Every comment MUST be backed by a link & source". Opinions count.

Debate rebuttals are, for the most part, the same level of intelligance of the original post...If someone starts a thread with "Ronald Reagan was just ATRP (another terrible Republican President)", as was done thing morning, a true debate is not only "not necessaray", but "not warranted". Don't hold conservatives to some sort of higher standard when the liberals show many examples of mudslinging themselves...apparently you've missed my earler post under "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder"...hence, I reiterate...

I've never said that liberals hate this country...I just believe that their solutions are more detrimental to what is being done now. That doesn't give anyone a right to spew hatred. This post was meant to inflame instead of sparking an actual debate.

Just because the author of this thread & I appear to be on the same team, that doesn't mean I have to use the same "low-brow" tactics to get my point accross.

I will admit...AND I will still accuse...the Liberals have hijacked the Democratic Party and have forced the "squeaky wheel" to get the oil(Howard Dean; Nancy Pelosi; Barbara Boxer...). That shouldn't mean that conservatives should undermine actual debate in order to get in "cheap shots".

I don't. I am not judging people by their party only as do multiple community members here do. I want to debate the issues, and too often I read rebuttals that are general cracks against Liberals or personal attacks against members of this community. I consider these as diversion because the person diverting hasn't a factual rebuttal to defend their previously stated views, so instead they appear to poo poo the challenge and bang back with diversions.
