Jobs that work with children are always chock-full of short eyes. Watching for them, weeding them out, and making sure they don't come back is a difficult and thankless task that is made more difficult by people using "protecting our children" as a dogwhistle for hurting innocent people who are less of a threat to their children than they are. No, clearly the focus on this thread and the article is the named person arrested for child pornography, which was erroneously linked to the Storytime events with one alleged registered SO that was participating in Houston, a tweet from some different organization in a different country in a different year, and the alleged cherry on top, this arrest which actually has **** all to do with it.

I'd still feel safer sending my kids to one of these events than to Catholic Mass.

Also, still waiting for you to correct "danced explicitly in front of children" to "danced suggestively in front of teenagers." Guess it just doesn't have the same Goebbelsian ring to it.

We now have direct confirmation that literal pedophiles are involved in the drag queen library story time events, grooming children!

Makes me wonder how many LGBT teachers and activists who work with kids in other areas and events are also pedophiles bent on grooming kids to exploit, and why isn't the LGBT movement condemning and purging pedophiles from it's ranks?

You know what actually protects children from sexual predators, though? Comprehensive sex ed. Better funded and better trained social services. Courts that don't get perpetrators weak tea sentences because they're white, churchgoers, white, good at sports, white, financially supporting the victims, white, "from a good family" (which means white), or white.

I mean... pretty much the hallmarks of progressive social policy, really.

I stand by my statement. I see no evidence you’re concerned about a public library facilitating close contact between children and a pedophile. You’re too busy morally preening.
