Dow UP over 1300 point pretrade and now opens just as big.

Nah, nevermind the stock will go red because:

The midterms are next year, if this hasn't been resolved by then, the dead Dems that happened in 2024, will be taking control of congress again in 2026.

IMO, the highs of Feb 2025, will be the high for this year and quite possible still the high for all of 2026.

If the world tips into a recession, it won't be so easy for the banking systems to undo the damage of workers losing their jobs.
But, trump might be able to give free money to people not working like he did in 2020.

I don't think it has anything to do with Trump's ego(large as it is), but a desire to continue having access to the US market.
I think this will happen quite quickly.
I think 2025 will end higher than the last peak in Feb.

The world started making changes to markets 4-6 yrs ago.
We are not the end all be all that we used to be. And that seems to be the MAGA plan. Make America insignificant in the world markets and order.

I don't understand that or why that is a goal. But that is what was voted for.

I doubt that is America being great. Leaders are great. Followers or sit outs are just existing.

Is there a way to make some kind of gentlemens bet? For the close of 2025 being less, (me) or more (you) than Feb of 2025 on the DOW.

Like a picture of eating crow or something silly and similar?

The point is the market had to price in the first round was ready to find support. After the second round there will be support again.

The second China caves, there will be BUNDLES of money made. Seriously some of these stocks like AAPL are still up 3% from a year ago even after falling like 20%. That's a huge quick gain to be made and even if it isn't made today or this week, it is the cheapest to get in on Apple for some times. They are not going anywhere as an example.

My opinion is not certainty, but is my hope and some history of how the market has reacted (Overreacted) in the past.

Our spectrum is so skewed to the right that liberal democrats would be right wingers or centrists at most in the rest of the first world.

Honestly have no idea what I'm doing day trading but it's not a huge portion of our account and I'm on a historic run. Have made 6 figures on NVDA since the beginning of the year. Just dumb, dumb luck over and over again.

I need to stop before I turn into a degenerate gambler. Think it was Charley Munger who said, "pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered".
