The files contain no end of embarrassing and salacious information on many men of both political stripes but none of it reaches the level of hard, prosecutorial evidence of criminal behavior. Releasing the information, minus criminal charges , would be both inappropriate, unethical and illegal. The Garland DOJ knew that and therefore didn't release the info. In comes Bondi thinking she had some sort of smoking gun and finds the same thing.....releasing the information would be a political and legal disaster. Yup, there is stuff there but releasing it serves no legitimate public purpose. Good luck Bondi walking this back. Best Trump can hope for is the public becoming bored .....

I'm not going with anything except to say the evidence would have to be overwhelming.....he says , she says won't cut it. Personally, I think a bunch of very rich, entitled pigs need to be, at the least, exposed for their disgusting behaviors but releasing salacious details without an indictment isn't appropriate either.

It's a tough one. I believe that horrible men did horrible things. However, I also believe a civilized society cannot allow the prosecution of those people to happen in the court of public opinion. A special prosecutor would be the answer but there is no way this Administration would appoint a true and unbiased arbitror of the facts. Its a mess

The grand jury testimony is a small subset of the information in the file. Everything other than the actual testimony is under the control of the DOJ. They absolutely can release it if they wanted to.
