This shouldn't surprise us. Trump is fulfilling his campaign promises while the ditzy Democratic Party spends their time condemning him for doing so. Trump’s messaging on economic growth and reducing government spending may resonate especially with business owners. The previous administration's soft on crime tactics from illegal immigration are now being turned around because of Trump policy. Trump's pro-stance on merit-based college admissions is also a plus. Also, he's not taking naps on the beach like his tired predecessor. He's working hard to improve the country and bring world peace and has done lots of positive things during his first quarter or so in office. Trump’s focus on economic growth, tax cuts, and deregulation appeals to moderates who value fiscal conservatism.

"Donald Trump's approval rating is growing among four key demographics, according to a new poll.
The latest Pew Research poll, conducted between June 2-8, shows that Trump's approval rating has grown since April among older Hispanics and Black voters, Asian women and moderate Republicans."

Why It Matters

Donald Trump made considerable gains with Black, Hispanic and Asian voters in the 2024 election, increasing his share of the vote in all but two states in 2024.

These gains among key voting blocs traditionally aligned with Democrats could reshape the balance of power in Congress and embolden Trump to pursue more aggressive policies with broader public backing.

What To Know

According to the latest polling data, Trump's approval rating among Hispanics aged 50 and over rose from 31 percent in April to 38 percent in June. Over the same period, disapproval declined from 67 percent to 60 percent, lifting his net approval rating from -36 to -22—a 14-point improvement."

Talk about clinging to anything.

Neat! That single poll should cheer Donnie Boy up. Now for some context based on aggregated polling data:

Still some work to do it seems. Maybe he needs to send out some angry social media posts telling those giving negative poll responses they should change that because he won the election and should stop being "cry babies".
:)

One really needs to look at how the poll was conducted. While older Hispanics may support Trump, it seems the younger ones do not according to a recent poll.

"June 16-4 net approval rating: Trump’s approval rating declined one point, from 47% to 46%, in the latest Harvard CAPS/Harris survey, compared to the groups’ poll taken last month, while 50% of respondents said they disapprove of his job performance (the online survey of 2,097 registered voters was conducted June 11-12 and has a 2.2-point margin of error).

Trump’s approval rating in the Harvard CAPS/Harris poll has dropped every month since February, when he had a 52% approval rating.

"In that same period of time, the negative shifts in net job approval among young voters, Latinos and independents were the most dramatic of the demographic groups our tracker measured.

For 18-to-29-year-olds, the net shift was -11.8 points, the most significant slide of any group.

For Latinos, Trump’s approval saw a net drop of 10.4 points.

And for independents, it was a net drop of 7.9 points.

I take polls with a grain of salt. One can poll and get about any result one wants depending who is poled and how the questions are presented.

This Pew poll has 41% approval for Trump, 58% disapproval (including 46% strong disapproval). This shouldn't surprise us, he's been doing a terrible job.

Wow. What terrible numbers. Congrats?

Y'all are raining on Trix's most recent faceplant OP. You'll hurt her feelings and she'll flounce from the board, for the 3rd time.

Fascists are very sensitive people don't ya know.

That is the great thing about polling and Stats you can manipulate the data enough to find a result to hat suits your bias.
In this case they found 4 subgroups that shows what they wanted to see and ignored the bigger picture

Well no, I was providing aggregated data demonstrating the areas Donnie Boy can use improvement, this way he can better craft his messages.

I at least provided two links to other polls to counter hers. That is better than just making a comment, right?

Facts are very unhelpful to her position bullshit.

Still losing in the psycho white liberal female demo.
You must mean these folks:
Those 'Karens', they are just AWFUL.

The problem is that the AWFULs are generally extremely unhappy people. Disproportionally single, childless, frantic about the sands of their biological hourglass draining away and very often finding themselves hitting terminal velocity in their attempts to mount the corporate ladder, they’re seeking meaning in left-conformist politics. You can spot them on social media tagging themselves as vaxxed and boosted and/or covering their pictures in the Ukrainian flag while posting about how a hot summer proves Global Warming Is Real You Guys, and their dating profiles are covered with things like “I don’t need a man” and “Trumpers, swipe left.”
Everything about these people bristles with dissatisfaction, hostility, and badly channeled, negatively charged emotion. And today’s Democrat Party specializes in pandering to them. The examples are everywhere — woke, messianic causes cited to justify obviously destructive policies, and out-of-control emoting toward those who try to apply the brakes.
(I'd include those Beta males along with that group, frankly)

Yeah, well that's no surprise, none at all.

Not much different than Obama at this point

Ouch

I'm sure that Trump will just sleep through any ratings review.
