Dominion Voting Systems released a pointed statement Saturday following remarks from billionaire Elon Musk and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), who have reiterated debunked conspiracy theories that the 2020 election was stolen from Republican nominee Donald Trump.

The electronic voting machine company reached a record-breaking settlement last year after suing Fox News for spreading disproven claims that its machines had facilitated ballot fraud in 2020. Dominion said Saturday that it is “closely monitoring claims around the 2024 election” that echo those allegations.

“We strongly encourage people to rely upon verified, credible sources of election information - sources that can explain the many layers of physical, operational, and technical safeguards that exist to protect the integrity of our elections,” Dominion wrote in its statement.

“We remain fully prepared to defend our company and our customers against lies, and to seek accountability from those who spread them,” the company added.

I'm shocked they went there, especially MTG. If Dominion does pursue it, it will be a much bigger deal for MTG than Musk. And once again, Trump will be clean as a whistle.

Gateway Pundit, the far-right conspiracy site, has settled a defamation lawsuit from two Georgia election workers who were falsely accused of rigging the 2020 results.

Details of the settlement were not made public. But the parties said in a court filing this week that they have “reached agreement to settle all claims and counterclaims.”

What MTG does not tell in her rant is that to cast the vote the paper copy must be inserted into a separate tabulator. If the ballot is printed wrong the voter can have the ballot voided and print out a new one with the corrected vote, BEFORE it is goes into the tabulator for counting.

imo, just another misinformation BS from MTG.

It's the disinformation machine at work. Musk also amplified the anonymous tweet on X , a tweet with no substance, about ABC giving Harris the questions. Such incredibly irresponsible behavior. I wonder what Trump has promised him......something big for sure

At this point Dominion’s major source of income is the billions they win in suits. Another couple of elections and Dominion will own the everything the RW has.

Trump has said that after he wins the 2024 election, he will appoint Elon Must to head a new Cabinet position....

The Secretary of Cost Cutting

No doubt in charge of cuts to Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid, Veterans Benefits, SNAP, Low Income Assistence programs, all Non-defense discretionary (NDD) programs, etc. etc.

Trump has said he will also do away with the Department of Education and HUD.
