DOJ granted stay on Cannon's ruling

Two judges he appointed...

So, effectively, this ruling makes the special master's question to the Trump team regarding whether the documents marked classified were or were not declassified and how that determination was made, a completely moot point as he won't be getting those documents.

I didn't think the special master was there to vet a documents security classification. I thought he was there to identify documents covered by attorney/client privilege or executive privilege.

I knew this appeal was in safe hands in the 11th circuit. The one place where actual conservative judges would not actually be a benefit to Donald and would be a benefit to the government.

Seems like an all time record for speed of a decision at the appellate court level.

Kudo's to the government attorneys for knowing what the flying fugg they were doing.

That's correct but he asked anyway.

Cannon's ruling no longer blocks the investigation. Sorry, not sorry Trumpanzees.

Trumps lawyers heads must be exploding.

A federal appeals court allowed investigators to resume review of classified records seized from Trump's Mar-a-Lago home

  • A federal appeals court panel ruled in a motion Wednesday to allow investigators to resume their review of classified materials seized from former President Donald Trump's home in Mar-a-Lago.
  • The motion comes after the Justice Department filed a motion in the 11th Circuit Appeals Court for a partial stay of a district judge's ruling that has paused its investigation into the materials seized from Trump's South Florida home.
This is a good sign that Justice Matters .............

So, how much time did Trump steal? Two weeks? Three?

It's over. Judge Cannon was eviscerated by the 11th Circuit. The appellate court examined every one of Cannon's findings in her ruling and agreed with none of them. Zero. Zip. Nada. And they told us so.

Of note, the Court referred to the documents properly, not as owned by the government, but by the American people. Trump is done.

If you read the whole decision, he won't be getting much of anything back. If Dearie finds personal papers, he'll get those, but I'm confident the FBI has filtered everything out already.

The 11th Circuit came down soundly on the side of the FBI. 100%.

On the other hand, the judge who was overruled is now in a position to run for the Republican nomination for president if the wants. So, a 3-0 ruling by two trump appointees and one Obama appointee. FWIW it's worth, the issue with trump judges isn't their loyalty to trump so much as their loyalty to the Federalist Society agenda who handed them to trump to appoint. Though the overruled judge seems an exception.
