DOJ Expands Probe Into 1-6 and Surrounding Events

They only cared about keeping traitor trump in power, they didn't give a damn about a constitutional crises, our country or our democracy. They are anti-American inbred trash, enemy within.

Yep-- and there are investigations and prosecutions for those who violated the law, and presumably, the conditions of the permit.
The note to which I responded said there was no permit to rally by the Capitol, and thus Trump in calling for such a march on the Capitol was breaking the law.
We now know that is false.

The larger issue is the subject of the thread-- that the DOJ has apparently expanded its investigation into a lawful protest both originally where it was held and then at the Capitol.
 
Well that silly Merrick Garland. Why didn't he just check with you first and save the tax payer a bunch of money?
 
The Left threatened lawmakers, and screamed to hang the duly elected President, and screamed about blowing up the white house and lynching Donald Trump. Nobody was investigated.

You should be ashamed, with your Apologetics to rioters and insurrectionists who, for like a solid year, assaulted federal buildings and federal officers, set fire to police stations, courthouses, etc., tore down statues and monuments, and attacked private citizens, while declaring their hate for this country which they described as fascist, hateful, patriarchal, colonial, fundamentally racist and a collection of "systems of oppression" which must be dismantled, defunded and disrupted, while overblowing a bunch of hicks who acted like asshats and are getting prosecuted.

Nobody was claiming the riots were an insurrection until after Jan 6. Nobody ever cañled rioters insurrectionists until you could use it as a deflection for Jan 6.

This is simply your lame attempt to downplay the treason from your own party.

And those rioters were not neccesarily Democrats. They didn’t waive Biden flags and try to overturn an election they lost. And they too were prosecuted, and rightfuly so.

Stop making excuses for traitors.
 
What is wrong with a private citizen accepting money from a foreign country? What crime are you alleging was committed?

It was just reported yesterday that the DOJ has added 130 prosecutors to the 1-6 investigation. Given that 800 dog fighters have already been charged and arrested, I doubt they need that many more to look into the rally itself. They are looking into the entire coup plot. They've had a grand jury for 2 months and people are being subpoenaed.

They are also very interested in the 80 some republicans who illegally forged slates of electors and sent them to the senate as if they were real. I can't predict what will come out of all this, but the circle is tightening on the WH as it should. It will be shown, IMO, that Trump is involved with all of it. One giant conspiracy that likely started a few months before the election when Trump could easily see he was losing. And without Trump's approval, none of this would have moved forward.

And don't forget, he told us he would not accept the outcome of the election unless he won. He also said he would not participate in a peaceful transfer of power. He kept those promises and participated in many attempts to keep Biden out of the WH. Essentially, he's been caught. What the DOJ does with all of it remains to be seen.
