Here is an article about JudicialWatch being aghast that the Obama-Lynch DOJ is fining companies for requiring employees to provide a green card or proof of citizenship.

In other words, if the company does NOT hire Illegals, they get fined!

Pretty sad when you can't count of the Department of Justice to follow existing federal law (isn't work eligibility check a required part of the hiring process?)

But then again, it's a clear indication of how politicized Obama's DOJ really is.

I call BS. Way more to the story than the way it's presented even if it's true, which I highly doubt. Ever hear of an I-9? Every employer must complete per Fed Law and now someone is trying to tell me the DOJ is fining/prosecuting employers for JUST FILLING OUT this.

Anti-discrimination laws affecting private citizens need to be repealed and made unconstitutional by amendment.
 
Most companies ask for proof of work eligibility. There must be more to this specific story.

It would go a long way if all the states used it in it's entirety. Unfortunatly only a small handful of states do.

This is why Bush Jr tried to get a guest worker program going, but he couldn't get it through congress.
 

This is one of those absolutely insane rules. As an employer every new hire has to fill out an I-9 and produce certain documents showing their eligibility to work. If they don't fill out the I-9 you, as the employer, get nailed to the wall. However, you aren't allowed to ask for documents that aren't on the list or express concern that a given document might be a forgery. You get nailed to the wall for doing that too.
 

You should check into the subtle discriminatory hiring practices this administration has instituted within the Federal Government. Through their aggressive "diversity" programs, an atmosphere has been created where federal government managers feel pressured to hire those from targeted minority groups over others.
