Those charts did not show actual tariff rates on U.S. goods by other countries – it showed a calculated "tariff" rate that would eliminate the trade deficit with that country. It is explained here:

Oh really? How much economic damage has Canada done to the US? Do you have a figure for that and actually evidence to backup that claim? Was Canada being unfair when we sold you energy at a discount? What about your softwood lumber tariffs on Canada?

What about the US dumping subsidized corn on Mexico? Are you going to stop doing that?

"IF" we were, or "ARE" being unfair then Canada should just stop trade with us !
The FACT that you need us so much more than we need you basically prove that you are doing well trading with us !

Look at a map and read a basic book about logistics. It's a little hard to completely cut off Canada from the US when they share the longest border in the world, buddy. Also, look up potash.
