Does there need to be an accounting of how Hospitals deal with error rates and how they are reported?

The jist of which the Hospital terminated her employment for no cause but apparently due to her reporting of the error rates of cardiologists in their diagnosis. The rate at which is 29% and has caused unnecessary further tests. I personally think this should be public knowledge.

But anyway again the Poll question is "DOES THERE NEED TO BE AN ACCOUNTING OF HOW HOSPITALS DEAL WITH ERROR RATES AND HOW THEY ARE REPORTED?

Depends on what you mean by error rate. Sometimes they have to chase down an answer. Have you never watched House?

As an accountant, chances are great that she was a sacrificial lamb and did what they really wanted..."off the record".
