Does the Socialist label matter anymore?

They called Obama a socialist. He is not, he is a technocrat.

The called Hillary Clinton a socialist. She is not, she is a corporatist.

Now they call Bernie a socialist. He is certainly the closest to it, but technically he is not, he is a democratic socialist.

I have to wonder at this point if "Socialist" has become an ad nauseum word which has lost its meaning to anyone outside the ardent FOX viewer. You would think anyone to the left of Trump is trying to turn America into a North Korea, Cuba, or Venezuela by the way the word has been thrown around.
 
It doesn't mean the same to younger people as it does to us old farts.

The truth is we're a mixed economy. Have been for a long time. Sanders just wants to add more socialism to the mix.

My problem with Sanders is divisiveness.
