Trump should have pardoned most of them, not all, for the only reason they wound up being prosecuted was due to his once again lying about an election that displeased him, telling them they would lose their country if they didn’t act. But those who attacked police officers probably should not have been pardoned in my view, depending on the circumstances of their cases.

Based on the information we have thus far, it doesn't look good for Anthony since he helped escalate the situation. That didn't give Metcalf the right to put his hands on Anthony, but I suspect it will be a hard case to make that Metcalf's response warranted the actions Anthony took.
