Does America “need the kind of generals Hitler had” ?

Does America need the kind of generals Hitler had or not?

Some of Hitler's generals tried to kill him.
Absolutely, however but if the question is based purely on the strategical & tactical abilities
of Hitlers generals they as a group had no equals, of the 5 finest generals in the field during WWII
3 were German;

1- Heinz Guderian
2- Erich von Manstein
3- Erwin Rommel

4 & 5 IMO were - MacArthur of the US who didn't even fight in the European theatre &
the Russian Georgy Zhukov

Biden and then Harris said they were going to have Trump assassinated ... they said in a private conversation in the White House, according to people who heard him say this

Prove me wrong .... I mean, its what someone said that someone said .........

c'mon people, this is pathetic

This Fox assholes are despicable.

So, his argument is that Trump didn't realise the leadership of the actual Nazi party were Nazis?

Erm, just how stupid does he think his viewers are?

I think the main difference is on one side we have recognised journalists who verify a story before publication and have professional standards to stick to if they want to keep being journalists and on the other hand we have you making up complete bollocks.

I wonder which side has more credibility?

On a scale of 1 - 10?

a story on someone saying they heard someone saying they heard something isn't credible

and should be called the BS it is

again ... I heard from someone who heard from someone who with with someone who was with Biden/Harris when they said they'd have Trump killed

that's as valid as that link is

What do you think, does America need the kind of generals Hitler had or not?

Does anyone actually agree with Trump on this?

I don't believe the story. At least not the "negative" parts. I can believe the positive parts because it is just like Trump to do such kindnesses.

The Atlantic is notoriously anti-Trump. So were many of the "officials" who were publicly supportive but were privately subversive of his Administration.

End of story, as far as I am concerned. :coffee:

Okay on the one hand we have Medal of Honor retired General John Kelly's account that Donald Trump said it.

On the other hand, we have you saying something too.

Perhaps you can share the services you provided to America to see if we can conclude you are as a reliable source as John Kelly. You might find Kelly to be pathetic because he dared to cross Dear Trump but many of us respect him and his word.

Um....link? I know you have been trained by right-wing media to invent a story, pretend it is true, then dare others to prove that it is untrue, so that you can keep boasting about "truth," but this stupidity is just offensive to simple truth. There is no lie about Trump. He is exactly as he has presented himself to be to YOU. And yet...you still stay on your knees for this [assumed] lesser-than. Is this trash not beneath you? He would be offensive to you too were you not so loyal to the bull shit right-wing tactic of treachery. Which one taught you? Was it Ingraham, Hannity, or Carlson...all three who were caught in their text messages to each other about how easy it is to lie to you? <---- See how I offered you a link for actual truth to bounce from? According to them, you are just a mark to manipulate into focused confusion. Improve yourself.

Again...find some self-respect. You sacrifice the meaning of "America," its history, it's institutions, and the military that defends it, for a ****ing draft dodger who consistently denigrates America, its institutions, and it's military, even before he ran the country into the socioeconomic/foreign-policy ground in 2020. WHY?! If you are looking for a place where you can find some self-respect after all of this pathetic partisan capitulation, without ridicule, you can't. Not if I'm in the room. But you may as well find a place where it hurts your country the least. But...YOU and your Trump bull shit matters most, right? Allow something that actually matters, to matter for a change. Discover America.

Again, if journalists just start making shit up they won't have a job for very long as nobody would hire them.

You on the other hand can make any claim you like.

I cannot believe how easily people are duped

someone said they heard someone say Trump said .... and it MUST BE TRUE !

"I find it absurd and appalling that so many Americans are willing to just dismiss these comments."

Chastising Americans for not buy the millionth “Trump loves Hitler” hoax on the eve of an election is a hell of a strategy.

Panic.

General John Kelly is not without his own controversies regarding character deficits, as a quick read of his Wiki entry can show.

I must have missed his citation for a Medal of Honor, though.

OTOH, if they are a journalist in name, but their job is as a propagandist, there might be a ready market for their ability to make up shit.

Basically these are both you saying “I choose not to believe the evidence” which is the same kind of conditioned response that some of the nastiest people in history took advantage of.

I can kind of understand you hand waving a single, isolated ex-Trump admin person who is disgruntled and badmouthing Trump. When you have 40 of his 44 former cabinet members refusing to endorse him, when you have Trump defending “hang Mike Pence” chants, when Trump’s former chief of staff makes these claims, when his former secretary of defense and former chairman of the joint chiefs of staff BOTH said Trump is “fascist to the core” and “the most dangerous person ever,” you’re dismissing a mountain of evidence.

Trump sure as hell wants them.

And needs them.

Just as Hitler wanted and needed them.
So...just so we're clear, trump wants the kind of generals who will try to assassinate him?

Well, well, well, looks like I was right, the Atlantic story is B.S.

"A family attorney and the sister of slain Texas soldier Vanessa Guillen both dismissed a report in the Atlantic on Tuesday alleging that former President Donald Trump refused to pay for the Army specialist’s funeral and disparaged her ethnicity...

Mayra Guillen, Vanessa’s sister, slammed the Atlantic report as “hurtful & disrespectful,” and indicated that the former president treated her family with “respect” in the aftermath of her sister’s brutal killing."

“As everyone knows, not only did Trump support our military, he also invited my clients to the Oval Office and supported the I Am Vanessa Guillen bill too,” Khawam continued. “I’m grateful we were successful in getting bipartisan support of the I Am Vanessa Guillen Act, and because of everyone’s hard work and efforts our service members now have more protections and rights while serving our country.”
