Best as I’ve been able to suss out, there are three different source committees for transcripts, and they’re exercising difffereint levels of protectiveness about letting journos see them. The Tax witnesses are at Ways and Means, for example, which may be holding their transcripts more closely than Oversight.
If you think about it, the testimony in just the last two weeks has devastated any impeachment inquiry, so I can imagine why Republicans are holding the transcripts close."

For all intents and purposes I believe it was dropped. They didn't investigate him despite the tips they received. They opened an investigation but did not pursue anything. They sat on the lap top dismissing it as Russian disinformation for as long as they could. They ignored what the whistleblowers told them. They were running cover. It's not even subtle. It's blatant what was going on. They think using the phrase an ongoing investigation is going to shield them. Time will tell if they are right about that or not.
