When it comes to the whole world you are going to have nations with different agendas wh oare jealous of the power of the USA..........Our real allies countries like Britian and Australia stand by us.....
The arrogant always claim that the others are just jealous.
Or maybe thats the paranoid? Or both?
iamjack said:Thats the second self-contradictory quip you've made. Why don't you actually make your ultimate argument rather ineptly try to deflect reasoning with pretentious remarks and one-liners that impress only yourself. You're becoming the most arrogent one here.
Caine said:Im not claiming that the USA is "THE GREATEST NATION OF THE FACE OF THIS EARTH" like the rest of you.
Explain how I am being Arrogant.

iamjack said:People have been making the point that insofar as the sum of its parts, and the capacity of the American political paradigm to adapt and prosper more proficiently then any other nation-state, a rational school of thought can unapologetically claim the United States is the most advanced country in the world.
You, however in an insecure and narccistic tangent, couldn't see beyond your own partisan morality (left, prusumably).
And you diegn this completly uacceptable.
And you render that he claims all other countries are jealous or that all US problems stem from jealousy.
You've thus far demonstrated the capacity to deal only in absolutes and have still yet to make a point other then contrary sound bites.
Caine said:And, dude, this is an online political debate, not a ****ing college thesis.
"And you render that he claims...."
Who talks like this?
kal-el said:Since we are already despised, I say that we send all of the illegals back to their respective countries' with a box of craftsman tools; hence they can build they're own nation from the ground up.
Caine said:I'm just curious as to what other people's opinion are on this.
I look around here and I see alot of people that justify thier opinions with,
"Because we're America"

some Americans are Arrogant, as are some, British and French.
our government is not a socialist governmentSurenderer said:I said we give the most dollar wise.....and I dont deny that the American Public is generous......but this is despite our Goverment not because of anything it does for us.......big difference if you are refering to the American People as opposed to the American Goverment
iamjack said:First time someone's retorted with fact I'm too literate for them.
And can think whatever you what, but one can't deny a deficit in reasoning when someone says "I'm from the USA the greatest country in the world" and "I'm from the Russian Federation, the greatest country in the world." And I could a ****ing college thesis on that.

SouthernDemocrat said:We are without a doubt the greatest nation in the history of civilization. So I guess in that regard, we are arrogant. However, I think it is well founded arrogance.
That said, our problem is not arrogance, its a lack of empathy for people in other nations and other cultures. Many, but not all, Americans don't seem to have the ability to view the world how people of other nations and cultures view it. It's like we cant seem to put ourselves in anyone elses shoes.

On the other hand, I could not tell who the President, Prime Minister, or Dictator is of many other countries in the world.
