Today ,Palestine is supposed to be autonomy and I think that it's the place where everything is really under the cover of the religion and its beliefs.

It is really totalitarian because there are existing some groups that believe in Koran and are very sure of their beliefs plus the government that force people from

Palestine to have only one type of religion-THIS IS An ISLAM.

Now,if there is the totalitarian place so it can't be the autonomy- in my opinion the autonomy it is a place where on one hand you have a power to be used.

Autonomy means democracy , free religious beliefs ;free teritory and free rights.

To finish, I think that Palestine won't be the autonomy in the future.

What do you think.?

i dont understand you well, what do you mean?

you dont think that palestinian will have autonomy in the future because they dont allow people from other religons?

I realise that English isn't your first language, but I'm afraid I can't understand what you're trying to say. Are you trying to say that Palestine is a theocracy? That it is a totalitarian state based on Islam? If so, you don't understand what 'totalitarian' means. Palestine may well be a very flawed state, but it does have some semblance of democratic process, unlike many, many other nation states. Why are you singling out Palestine?

You say, "Autonomy means democracy". No, it doesn't, not at all. Saudi Arabia and North Korea are autonomous, and neither could be remotely referred to as democracies.

Palestine is certainly lacking autonomy. It is dependant on the whims of neighbours, both hostile and friendly, and upon supporters and aid-givers. Your post makes little sense and shows a misunderstanding of basic political concepts.

Theocracy ≠ lack of autonomy
Autonomy ≠ democracy
Established religion ≠ theocracy
Lack of autonomy ≠*totalitarianism

Check out these concepts and then create another thread on the subject.

I wouldn't say that Palestine in general is totalitarian but it certainly isn't democratic. Both sides are arguably just as bad as one another in terms of political harassment and treatment of those who don't tow government lines. Hamas is only marginally worse at this stage purely because it also combines a lack of democratic values with terrorism and radical Islamism.

I think it is quite totalitarian. Many argue that islamism is the modern worlds nazi party. I watched this last night, its interesting what goes down in Gaza.
