Taxation isn't stealing.

I'd be impressed if the 'stealing from genius' ranters thought about those who ride multigenerational wealth (little is any labor or genius involved there) getting more tax cuts while our government runs YUGE deficits. Not the least bit fiscally responsible. "Run the gubmint like a business" but red ink is ok if I get more money in my pocket now, to hell with the future.... :roll:

Our taxes go to a myriad of agencies. You don't get to pick and choose. But I assure you the 'to others' are people some of my taxes go to as well. I don't begrudge my taxes to support a safety net. Why would someone with so much more (and so many earlier tax breaks) whine like spoiled brats???

What I think you’re specifically talking about is tax dollars being used to social programs and other things that you personally see no benefit of. That’s actually a tiny portion of what your tax dollars pay for.

10% taxation for all above a certain income level... say $12,000 is enough taxes to pay for necessary programs. If it isn’t enough, it’s time to cut programs.

Why do you condone theft and redistribution? Why not have a system where everyone is equal.

Truth of the matter is that the single biggest line item on the federal budget is defense.

The money that goes to social programs for poor people - which is what I assume you’re talking about - is likely not nearly as much as you think it is.

Oh, and while we are at it, we Require the Government operate under a Balanced Budget. We waste Billions, You know it and I know it, we need more accountability and common sense, something very lacking on Both sides.
