If a person says Trump was responsible for Jan6th then they have to also agree here Democrats are calling for violence/insurrection too
Doesn't matter, really.

The J6ers were pardoned. This leads me to believe that storming the capitol is now just another tactic.

Since, you want to keep going with this....What bad behavior do we condone? I've already proved to you with links that most were convicted of non-violent, low level criminal offenses.

I spelled it out already, Trix. I explained to you how the trajectory looks to me and why. Rather than do that all over again, please reference the specific things I've said that you either do not understand or do not agree with.

And some assaulted cops and other people and committed other violence. Some vandalized our Capitol building, breaking, damaging inside and out, shitting and stealing.

Should they be excused from their sentences? If so, why? Do you condone this bad behavior? Should they have been pardoned for that bad behavior?

more and more Democrats are calling for violence/insurrection/upheaval .... do you support it ?

Maryland Democratic Rep. Kweisi Mfume
"This will be a congressional fight, a constitutional fight, a legal fight, and on days like this a street fight, yes we will stand," Mfume said.

California Rep. Robert Garcia said the Democratic Party now needs to "bring actual weapons" in the "fight for democracy."
"I think [Musk is] also harming the American public in an enormous way," Garcia said. "And what I think is really important and what the American public want is for us to bring actual weapons to this bar fight. This is an actual fight for democracy, for the future of this country."

In January, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., also called for Democrats to fight Trump’s agenda "in the streets."
"That's not acceptable. We are going to fight it legislatively. We are going to fight it in the courts. We're going to fight it in the streets."
Your source is a Faux article.

Faux IS NOT a valid source.

Please find a valid source and try again.

I don't condone violence, and I would hate to see it erupt from either side. However, I fear that we are headed for a violent upheaval, perhaps started by Trump to give him an excuse to impose martial law. He is acting like a banana republic dictator, so a banana republic style insurrection may be in our future.

You seem to lack an understanding of the subtly of metaphor. None of the people listed are advocating actual violence. "Fight" in political speak is not an act of violence nor is taking to the streets. It an act of using your political power, including a 'show of political force' expressed in numbers, to stand firm.

I am rather disappointed in Fox, which once a decent news organization. Yes, Fox has always been slanted, but at least they had a commitment to real news. Not anymore. They understand their power to manipulate their viewers who they think of as useful idiots to their ends. They are now in the business of creating news and selling it. They are no better than OAN or ZeroHedge. You are letting them manipulate you. Upgrade your news sources.

The DP experience would be better for all of us if we could all stop disingenuous posting, sensationalizing and just reposting news reports that sensationalize. We are smart people. We could all do a better job filtering this garbage and focus on ACTUAL things that are going on in the world.

So your position is that Trump did not call for violence and neither have the Democrats? That seems to contradict your OP

I see the vast majority of it from the hate speech coming from the left. How many people on the right rant on with hate compared to those here from the left?
However, I fear that we are headed for a violent upheaval, perhaps started by Trump to give him an excuse to impose martial law.
Do you really believe that? Wow.
He is acting like a banana republic dictator, so a banana republic style insurrection may be in our future.
I don't see it that way. I'm sorry that he is taking away the deception that has been continuing in DC. Wake up and see what is actually happening, instead of what the media influencers lie about.

The problem here is the left, almost in lockstep, defined Trumps words before and during 1/6 as a call to violence. The left defined what it means to them. Are you now going to say Trump never called for 1/6 to happen like it did?

What was your stance then?

They are finally doing what CNN, MSNBC, and other have been doing all along.

Lol, you're kidding right? In the streets just means protest and grassroots work. Don't be silly

Was that what you said when Trump called for a fight?

My issue with Trump was the fact he told the mob to go to Congress and REFUSED to call them off for 3+ hours as they desecrated the Capitol.

He did tell them to cease on Twitter, twice, but the twits at Twitter took down his posts.

He didn't call for a fight in the streets. He instructed his mob to march to the capitol and fight like hell to stop a vote count.
Which is what they did.
Bullshit. If you look at the full transcripts, in the order of time, he said at the rally that they would march together to the capitol. The riot started before his rally ever finished. I don';t even think he know it was occurring until after the rally was finished.

Jesus. This is unbelievable. After all these years, you guys still go with the proven lies.

So, in your head, the American public is going to literally bring weapons into a bar and fight? What bar is he talking about and how is the American public going to fit in it?

There is difference between "actual" weapons and literal weapons. He's speaking metaphorically about using tough language, specifically calling Elon Musk a dick.

Hey.

He said it. Not figuratively either.

The TRUMP SUPPORTERS that were at the Capitol before Trump's rally was over were not sufficient to get inside the Capitol Building. The many thousands that came from his rally were what tipped it. Obviously his speech that afternoon was just the final straw as many of his supporters came prepared with weapons.

And you go with the version that supports your effort to hold Trump above reproach. Trump knew there were many in attendance intent on "It will be wild" They were coordinated groups: And he encouraged his rally goers to join them.

Trump's tweet spread like wildfire among extremists

Trump's Dec. 19 tweet, which read: "Statistically impossible to have lost the 2020 election. Big protest in D.C. on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!" spread like wildfire among far-right groups, said Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md.

In the hours after that tweet was posted, Kelly Meggs, the head of the Florida Oath Keepers, posted a message on Facebook pledging that his group would "work together" with the Three-Percenters and Proud Boys, two other right-wing extremist groups.

In a clip of video testimony, Donell Harvin, former D.C. homeland security chief, said his agency had intelligence of "very, very violent individuals" from these groups organizing to come to Washington, D.C. on Jan. 6.

"These non-aligned groups were aligning, and all the red flags went up at that point," he said. "When you have armed militia collaborating with white supremacy groups, collaborating with conspiracy theory groups online, all for the common goal, you start seeing what we call in terrorism a blended ideology, and that's a very, very bad sign."

So very tired of Trumpists trying to extricate their hero from this massive attack on our country.

He did tell them to cease on Twitter, twice, but the twits at Twitter took down his posts.

He tweeted that Mike Pence betrayed them AS the riot was happening. Don't even try to gaslight this.

So long as the violence is mostly peaceful, I'm okay with it.
