The follow-up question should have been: "where is the integrity in denying asylum to the Afghans who risked their lives to help the US in its war?".
 
If he wants to do that. fine. But here's the thing...the MAGA-mites have to apply their standards to the white South Africans as they would with non-whites asking for refugee or asylum status.

Also...

The white South Africans don't get any special privileges with courts determining their future status here in the US beyond refugee status.

Also...

The white South Africans don't get any tax payer money to assist them in relocation costs, food, utilities, etc.

Also...

The white South Africans aren't allowed to take jobs away from American citizens. They have to apply for immigrant work visas or wait until the quota for American hires are met before applying jobs like that.

Also...

The white South Africans will be deported for any circumstances such as participating in demonstrations, committing crimes from the serious to non-felonies like speeding. They are not allowed due process and can be detained at the will of the government with no reason given. They can also be deported to an El Salvadorean prison if they break the law.

Since MAGA-mites think is fair for non-white folks, then it must be applied to white folks. What is good for the goose, is good for the gander.

A PBS report showed that about 5% of the folks who came to the US from Europe during 2013-2023 are undocumented. Total number of undocumented European illegals is thought to be at 1.2 million from that time period. There isn't much in the way of racial data as it isn't collected, but the assumption is that most of that 5% are white. Further, only 1,500 white illegals are deported every year, roughly half of them had broken laws, the other half was caught overstaying their visas...which for you guys is basically the same as breaking the law.

The rest of the illegal white immigrants are left alone because unless they are actually breaking a law and get caught or are actually caught overstaying their visa as soon as it happens, there is no priority to round them up as ICE is more concerned with raids that will get them dozens to hundreds of illegals to deport since that is what makes MAGA and their lord and savior Trump happy.

Agree

When will Trump allow gay women and men from certain Middle East Countries refugee status. In some Middle East and North African countries homesexuality is not only illegal but the authorities use entrapment methods to jail these men and women, many who are beaten in the arrest process.

Perhaps Trump would like to mention this to some of the ME leaders, and open the US to these citizens under threat.

Somehow I don't this will happen.

Trump is visiting UAE and Qatar as we speak, 2 countries known to jail men and women and using entrapment.

Trump could do the same for LGBTG community in certain countries with a public statement as he did with white South Africans. Somehow I don't believe many in Trumps base looking favorably on such a statement.

Trump is in the UAE now, a country notorious for its persecution of its gay citizens, fantastic time to make such a statement.

Refugee status or asylum may be granted to people who have been persecuted or fear they will be persecuted on account of race, religion, nationality, and/or membership in a particular social group or political opinion. -- Refugees and Asylum, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Care to answer my questions now concerning the cluster of particular interest to you? How many applied? Were denied? Or approved?

Would it not be better to let these white folks get treated humanely, so you have an example of hypocrisy that might turn the discussion around regarding how Trump's "less desirables" get treated?

Ideally everyone would be treated humanely. Everyone being treated equally shitty seems like getting off at the wrong stop.. hehe Maybe you were just trying to make a point, my neurodivergent brain tends to take things too literally sometimes. :)
