Did you charge them a fee?I actually have a yard sign in my yard for a state senate candidate that I won't actually vote for. Her campaign called me up and asked if they could put a sign for her in my yard. I told them they could without realizing that she was running against the candidate that I planned on voting for. So I left the sign in my yard since I told them they could put it there.

I have never posted a political yard sign. Ever. I feel the passive declaration is meaningless.
I don't do bumper stickers on my vehicle, either.
No. And I don't do bumper stickers (those things are a bitch to get off).
Interestingly, in my community there are really no political signs in anyone's yard. I have seen a few on the medians, especially for Dan Forest "Run Forest Run" signs everywhere. There are small little clumps of them at some intersections too but that's about it.
I find it hugely distasteful also to put those signs in the form of stickers on your children. This is something I saw at our state faire this past Sunday which was ... ugh. Please don't turn your child into a political mascot or post board. If they want stickers, there are tons of other places at the fair to get non-political stickers from.
