Do You Peacefully Protest dressed Like This?

If they are so peaceful, then why are they in protective gear and throwing fire bombs?

I'll play devils advocate and acknowledge that many of the day time protestors are far more peaceful. Yet when night falls and it becomes harder to make identifications. You find people like this one being pictured, come out in droves and they use their anonymity, the confusion of the crowd, and the support that the left generally lends them. To stay hidden and protected.

Fun fact, they've been caught wearing fake press & EMS insignias as well.

Fresh from your failure to justify why police are dressed up like army guys in the desert, you’ve now decided to question the attire of Americans exercising their their constitutional rights. All this fuss about clothes, are you Anna Wintour?

Sticking with supporting your thugs?

When did tossing Molotov cocktails get entered into the Constitution or Bill Of Rights??

Next time you’re talking about guns protecting citizen’s rights or how it’s wrong for the government to have a monopoly on force, just remember that when the time came that citizens would fight the government, you hid in your house worrying about what clothes people were wearing.

Who is "they"? All the protesters in Portland? All the protesters in America? All Americans?

This is a stupid question. Clearly the person in the picture is not involved in a peaceful protest. You can't get the right answers in life if you can't even muster the right questions.

There's no Constitutional right to commit violence, and destroy that which does not belong to you.

Isn't this how police dress now?

What happened white wingers? I thought per the 2nd amendment patriotic citizens needed the same equipment the government had?

Unfortunately, much of the media is also calling these same people "peaceful protestors". So he's not entirely in the wrong to ask such a question.

Well, if a picture is worth a 1,000 words, he doesn't seem to have heard a single one of them.

No, he's merely following the same narrative that is being lead into.
We can easily see that these people are not peaceful protestors. But the media and even Portland's own Mayor have gotten into the game of lopping them all into the same singular distinction.

They do not care to differentiate, so why ask the same of him if he's just pointing out the hypocrisy of it all?

Quote one mainstream media source that has called people throwing firebombs peaceful protestors. You lie through your teeth and now that you're challenged to prove it you'll gas light and refuse to do it.

The vast majority of the protestors are peaceful.

If they are so peaceful, then why are they in protective gear and throwing fire bombs?

Quote one mainstream journalist or prominent politician that has called people throwing firebombs peaceful. Do all Americans lose the right to protest the second any one individual becomes violent?

You should probably read the Constitution before commenting on it because its clear that you dont know wtf you are talking about.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Nothing in there about dress codes buddy. Now I’ll let you get back to defending the federal government, “libertarian”.

No, the attire in question as described by you was in reference to 'Americans exercising their their constitutional rights.' Throwing Molitov Cocktails is NOT an example of a Constitutional right. Go educate yourself so you dont look quite so foolish in the future.

No...rightwingers are. The rest of the world can see millions of peaceful protesters...but all you see are a handful of violent rioters so you can discredit the millions.

If the millions of peaceful protesters were rioting, this country would look like the aftermath of Sherman's march to the sea. Careful what you wish for, Obo.

'peaceful protests' were soo yesterday. We were all onboard,
even if rejecting BLM as a Marxist front.

Todays protests are riots.
the cops declare one every dang night in either Portland or Seattle.
Chicago is a killing field worse the Afghanistan, and this is a cultural revolution
-not a "protest"

The vast majority of the protestors are peaceful.

If you have 50 anarchists, in a crowd of 300 peaceful protesters, who are destroying property, assaulting police and citizens, it's impossible to separate them from the others. That means the only recourse is to disperse the entire crowd. Those who are peaceful will peacefully leave. Those who are not will fight back and get arrested.

But when that entire crowd of 300 decline to leave, they have now joined the ranks of the anarchists. They are no longer peaceful protesters.

So...in the end, it doesn't matter if "The vast majority of the protestors are peaceful." They easily turn into anarchists and LE is justified in taking action against them.

Seriously...if those 300 peaceful protesters really cared about remaining peaceful, they would shut down those 50 anarchists before they ruin things for everyone. (Since they don't shut them down, that means they don't really care.)

You must not watch Joe Scarborough, or you would've seen his whole "“deeply disturbing attacks against peaceful protests" rant.

Also Rabid, you are a rather poor choice to even claim that anyone else is lying at this point.

What happened white wingers? I thought per the 2nd amendment patriotic citizens needed the same equipment the government had?

Issue isn't so much the equipment, it is what people are doing with it. But back to the OP's point: are they there to peacefully protest, or are they there to go to war against the duly and democratically elected governmental authority?

I suppose you are making the case; they aren't protesters, they are a revolutionary militia force attempting to seize power. Which means okay to retaliate against them with force as needed.

Where did I say that millions of people were rioting?
